It’s on Aggie for giving sumlin the BIG contract after Johnny. Huge expectations..National Championships here we come. That didn’t work out so well. Now the powers that be have done it again. Yes I know Jimbo isn’t sumlin. His rpm’s are revved to the max. His team played above expectations and that’s a positive. Now they have to learn how to win against quality opponents and not the likes of Northwestern State. Time will tell. It’s all a crap shoot anyway...a roll of the dice. How many professions put their jobs on the line when the outcome depends on the performance of a group of kids (high school) or young men (college).

There’s no doubt Jimbo has brought a renewed energy to college station. What they do with that revitalization remains to be seen. Stay tuned.

Aggie missed a golden opportunity to make great strides within the college fb ranks in their first season in the sec which was very successful. How has it played out since that time.

Not so fast my friends. A team isn’t back until they’ve actually won something. That said, the Aggies played a very good game against Clemson Saturday night that has opened a lot of eyes, especially recruits. If this growth continues, ATM will definitely run this state.

Dallas looks like they will be in for a long season. Might want to bring Dez back and coax Whitten out of retirement.

Coach Vanya’s Hornets will give all they have and play hard to the end against whomever. Buna is ‘BIG’ with a bruising rushing attack. They wore the Hornets down, which they will do to a good number of teams.

The Aggies beat Bama at Kyle Field when most didn’t give them a chance. Now here comes Clemson, with most, even some aTm faithful, expecting a Clemson victory. It wouldn’t surprise me if the Aggies play lights out and pull out a victory.

And while I’m on a roll, someone get Herman a BURNT ORANGE game shirt!!! Now where is my beer holding hard hat? It will make mowing the grass more enjoyable.
