  1. He will be fine, this is not his first time being injured.I spoke to D and he told me he has  injured something  every year since 7th grade and still found a way to compete at a pretty high level.
  2. Exactly! RR and Bulldog dad,r u fans r critics? Cause "real" fans would wish their players a speedy recovery. RR your comment appears as u have something against this kid, something personal.and bulldog dad I find it hard to believe that the coaching staff would allow him to jus "kneel" on the sideline and not particpate. I don't think he would still be the starting qb.its kinda weird that u guys didn't have any comments on the kid that"quit" the team,u had no rebuttle to that. So what u guys need to do is stop hating on this kid and hope he is back in enough time to help the team. Grow up!
  3. Jus got word that starting QB Dionte Forney is out for at least 2 weeks with a sprained MCL.
  4. Its sad that instead of encouraging these kids to strive to be the best you try to knock them. But  like a good friend told me cream always rise to the top. Keep pushin big man!!!!! Haters yall can ride too cause whoever puts this probably never played ball. Couch players!!!!!!!
  5. Sounds like a bunch of hating to me!!!!
  6. Since when does a qb need speed to run a spread offense? Yall Nederlands need accept the fact that Dionte is the best kid for the job hands down. Not to knock the other kid but Dionte is a true qb.
  7. Different field same results!!!!! Your players are only as good as the coach!
  8. Im going with who got me to the playoffs! Plus he is 6'5 which means he can see over the line. He has a strong accurate arm with pocket presence. He needs to work to get faster this summer.
  9. If Forney were connected to me, we wouldnt be having this discussion. It's too political in that small town. I wish i could come down there and watch their spring game to watch that big 6-5 245 pound qb destroy his so-called competition.
  10. IT WAS BROUGHT TO MY ATTENTION THAT FORNEY WOULD NOT BE THE STARTING QUARTERBACK FOR THE 2010 SEASON. NOW IF MY MEMORY SERVES ME THIS PROGRAM WAS ON LIFE SUPPORT PRIOR TO HIM BECOMING THE QB. NOW IF THIS INFO THAT I RECEIVED IS CORRECT, I WILL START TO WONDER IF THE COACH IS THINKING WITH HIS HEART OR HIS HEAD. CHECK THIS KIDS STATS IN A SHORT PERIOD OF TIME!!!!!               PA PC Pct Yds TD Int        2009  120 66 55.0 941 11 4
  11. Congrats to Forney this kid stepped up when it was time and proved that he a gamer. Congrats to all the kids that made the list. Keep up the good work and continue to make good decisions.
  12. Forney and Smith both bring something to the table. But it depends on what style of offense you run. Forney is more of a solid post man but Smith is more athletic than Forney so it balances out. An as far as their future, I dont even think Forney will play basketball next year.
  13. Yeah i like the dogs in this one, with those two 6'5 towers they should dominate. Their guard play has improved as of late, so if they continue to mininmize turnovers and crash the boards they should be ok.
  14. When will English understand that this kid is your ticket to the playoffs and it starts now . It seems as though he thinks he still has those guards from last year. "New Flash" they are long gone! So if he doesn't start revolving his offense around this kid ,they will continute getting beat by 30 pts or more.
  15. If the Bulldogs would of played an inside out offense the other night it wouldn't of been close. If i had him on my team he would get his touches every time down the court.
  16. MLB and the NCAA does a bad job marketing black baseball players. when you look on the TV at the college world series, how many blacks do you see playing? especially in this part of America. you mean to tell me that there are no black players worthy of playing in the college world series? yes, you see maybe 1 to 5 total. it's not that blacks don't play baseball. as i recall, ozen, central, and memorial all have baseball teams. to take it a step further, how many blacks are on all these select teams in southeast texas? lack of money is one thing that i do agree with; and kids do need to get off their butts and go out and try to play. but we all know it's all about exposure. and if a kid doesn't see he has a legitimate chance of playing professionally, due to maybe he can't even play on a local select team or at a local college, he tends to focus on something he feels he has a better chance succeeding at [like basketball or football]. i do know in the past 2 years, the first player taken/drafted was a black player. but that still doesn't correct the problem when the next black kid doesn't get drafted until the later rounds. so yes, i do agree with some of the remarks on this site. but don't just stop there--like laziness is the only problem for the lack of blacks playing baseball. because it's not. take the postings to this site as another analogy of blacks and baseball. of all the articles posted, whether they pertain to black players or white ones, those focusing on black players are read hundreds of times with no comments, or very few comments. as in maybe 3. but other postings about non-black players are read and commented on. the kids read these posts, too. what do you think that tells them? that they don't get off their butts and play? or their parents don't have the means to support their talents? no. it tells them their efforts go unnoticed on a smaller scale, so what do they have to look forward to when it comes to college or pro scouting of their skills? again, they may be widely overlooked. as far as blacks and latinos playing in the MLB goes, latinos will play despite being underpaid for their many talents on the field. whereas blacks would like to get paid the same salaries as their non-black/latino counterparts are being rewarded.
  17. I disagree. It's not the money, it's the sport. Look at all the Latin players, they share gloves and bats as youngsters, in some of the poorest living conditions. [ /quote] You have to be kidding.
  18. I gurantee who ever selects this Lott kid in next months draft will know in a couple of years that he is the truth and the reason. You guys will be reading about this kid for many many more years.
  19. DD Lott is definitely a mlb prospect. He is the rawest talent i've seen thus far. And yes i've seen him hit 92 more than once. Did it in the cold. And who ever is knocking this kid, they will be the same ones knocking on his door for his autograph.
