At Spring Klein with R. Roth.  Only 3rd time out this summer.

I think the ball actually hit her foot.  That is why she slowed up.

OC Harrell took 2nd by beating LA United 6-4 in ITB at SOT. The girls were 6-0 and one of 2 teams left when they finally were beaten by LA BLAZERS. Then falling behind 3-1 until the 4th when a 2run 2 out rally tied the ballgame. Crush took the lead in the 5th when Katye Harris got Courtney Howell . United came back with 2 outs and hit a solo HR to send it to ITB. Crush defense then took control and won by scoring 2 runs in ITB.  Earlier in the day Crush beat Texas Storm 2-1 in ITB with Mallory L. fielding a bunt with a girl on 3rd, look her back , get the out at 1st and Caitlyn Blanchard throwing home to Katye Harris who won the collision at the plate with the 3rd base runner who tried to go home and didn,t make it. Proud of all the girls this weekend.

Super play!!!!!!!!!! 

It was hot, no miserable.............. players and umpires going down to heat! 

Ask UIL......  They will tell you to sit out if you do not live in the district!  Although he is looking to move to O'field.

I talked to these coaches, so I know they were there;

A&M Kingsville - Blake Miller was amazing. High energy and the girls he coached in the infield loved him.

LSU Eunice

Angelina

Texas Southern

Copia-Lincoln - Mississippi

ETBU

The biggest problem is that these are very talented players and that their travel coaches had no warning of them leaving. This left a team scrambling to replace several good players. The timing is bad because most teams are formed in the fall but it is what it is. The fact that the kids did this themselves is hard to deal with because they lack the life experience to always make the best decisions for their future, but it is what it is. I know HS Seniors feel like they know everything, I deal with them all the time. I hope that OCG is able to give some other players an opportunity to step up and keep their program going. Everything happens for a reason and only time will tell if this a good thing or bad.

Glad I entertain you....this is all just too funny, can't help myself.   Normally I don't get involved in this stuff but its bringing back memories of 4th grade.   I'm sure this thread won't last long.

Don't know about the "volatile situation" you had with the HEAT, but it was a good game, very exciting!  I'm glad your player wasn't seriously hurt and recovered for Sunday.

Ok, maybe "volatile situation" is not the right word to use.  Sorry.  What I was referring to is the fact that the coaches from heat were so upset about us questioning that call.  Then started mouthing stuff about Crush and how it is all technical when you play against Crush, and all the other little "comments" they were making from the dugout.  Then said something to the effect of if we are playing so much by the rules then I needed to stay in the coaches box.  The umpire called both coaches out and put all defensive coaches in the dugout and said all offensive coaches must stay in the boxes.  That is what I was referring to, how the umpire handled that.

And yes, it was a good game.  Enjoyed it!!

Rookie umpires are what you get at 10U/12U games.............  That is where they learn!

I gotta tell you, not only is he an excellent coach, he is a pretty dang good umpire also.

Just passing on the information I got a little while ago. 

Word is they will not be back until a certain Moderator is no longer a Moderator.  I also know of others that deleted thier accounts today.  They feel they would be on even "Playing Fields" if he was just a posters.

I agree, this forum is dead without these guys.  At times, I also disagreed with them, but I know they did with me also. 

I ask that they come back also--but this may be a moderator issue and the Mods need to get together and make a group assessment. 

I think this would be a good approach to solving the probelm.  So --are the mods (with whom I do respect) up to it.

Mods did not have anything to do with them deleting thier accounts.  I was told that one certain Moderator is a big cause of the big problem on the board.  This Mod had been quiet for some time and then comes in and throws his power around as a Moderator and stirs more crap than BAG.  IMO he did stir crap before he was a Mod and the even more after he was a MOD.  Hence the term Mafia Moderator!  As for as them coming back.......may not happen for a while if at all.  This will make some people extremely happy.  Am I right T-12?
