Logan Johnson wp 6-2/3  9 k's 9 hits  Koenig with the save 2 k's  Jake Minaldi 3 for 3  Taylor Eaves 2 Doubles.  The Horns left a lot a baserunners. Kirbyville a scrappy team with a good catcher Logan Hughes does not let much pass him

Good Job HORNS!  Hagan Daigle 2 for 3 with a double and Kyle Markum with a double to even it 8-8

Soild Win for the Horns. Congrats!!! Keep  playing as a team with everybody contributing.

Koenig went 6-2/3 a little shaky start but settled in nicely.  The horns looked good playing as a team.

Hamshire Fannett 11-0 in six. 

Good scrimmage for the Horns minus key players still in basketball. Brett Koenig went three, 1 run by tarkington on three early errors, Jake Minaldi followed with three innings 2 runs on a couple hits. Derek Lalonde tossed the last inning o runs. The horns bats looked good for this early in the season.

I would like to express my gratitude to the many Bridge City Fans who took the time after last nights contest to walk over to my wife, myself and especially my son Brett Koenig (the losing pitcher) to congratulate him and the horns on a great game.

Its refreshing to experience such an outpouring of sportsmanship. The baseball program in your city is a class act.
