if you go too long without a victory...its no longer a rivalry. people say bc-wo-s is a rivalry...i say BS lol we've never beaten them...so what is there to rival over? but...two of the three games we've played since they dropped down to 3a have been nail biters

2000 buyou bowl...i think it was the first one.. one of our hardest hitters in the last decade robert melich was an upback on punt. he had a clean release and was FLYING down the field...no fair catch was called unfortunately for the waiting punt returner. it looked like a scene straight out of the water boy..it was unfair..his head hit the ground first, i got to watch it two more times that night on the tailgate party.

we played hutto two years ago in klein tx right outside of houston...pretty good drive from bc. we get to the locker room and are getting ready to warm up for the biggest game of the season, and one of our players forgot his helmet....which is funny but funnier than that they had to assemble a new helmet for him out of older helmet parts...his facemask was crooked and he had no stickers lol he looked like an idiot

subway right after the pep rally...6 inch on wheat turkey ham cheese pepperoni mayo salt and pepper...bag of chips and i only drank gatorade on game day. back to school if its an away game...home if its at home ...eat it slow. listen to music..get dressed from the top down. put the music up when the qb's go out to throw, read my "keys to success " one more time. say a prayer to myself, then warm up..

helton spent the last two seasons playing receiver and return man along w/ corner...hes pretty fast and should be able to run the option a little better than ramsey but im not certain about his throwing

yea...i should have known if i said anything in this thread the wo-s faithful would be all over me. so...here i go again, yes we had about three guys injured going into week zero, one being a pretty important piece...basically who we lived and died by. none of what i said was an excuse..i was just saying, we struggled w/ everyone on our schedule, when you start injured and stay that way, and are not conditioned well (which is why im glad we have someone like coach stump to clean some of the mess up here), you're going to struggle. thats it, i wasnt tryin to dodge around why we werent top noch with all these excuses...like we cant stop anyone because our shoes were on too loose or something, please im not that immature you try to make it out like everything i say is trying to belittle what you did, im not, you guys reload every year and honestly like everyone else on this board, whether they want to admit it or not, im jealous lol i wish we had that kind of talent year in and year out in bc. and i never said anything about playcalling/coordinators/players etc so please dont put words in my mouth but as far as this year goes, i only know enough to talk about bc and they are not making the playoffs, they will get better but not that good. but i dont know enough about other teams to make a educated list...but if i were a bettin man 1 wo-s -garrett is the best rb pound for pound i've ever seen 2 kville- rhodes and hazelwood will get them there 3 jasper- tons of experience coming back didnt lose their qb or rb like silsbee

my step brother graduated from there and at his graduation party i spoke to one of the starting lineman for sam and he told me not to look for the same kind of year that he had last year, lost all his beef upfront. but i heard he verbally committed to michigan, but texas and a&m joined the race late...but yes he is a great talent, and can jump like a mad man lol

saying bc struggled against liberty and then stating how badly you beat them doesnt mean anything...with the injuries that we had to even START the season we struggled with everyone on our schedule...not to mention all the mental mistakes we made with that being the first of the season...and when you played them it was your eleventh

this happened a while back during the school year and it just came out...and there werent any tests it was kinda a scandle thing that blew up on those involved. there were no test results that had to be confirmed or that just came back

i think kids/ athletes look at the present too much and dont really evaluate the future when making decisions about what goes into their bodies...when a kid is pretty good but wants that extra edge...maybe to gain a college SCHOLARSHIP then they are twice as tempted i think to do something that later on in life can do some serious damage. i never did it...i know my close friends never did it, but its ashame that someone from another school will see people get hurt and get in serious trouble and still decide to do it, and they will never get caught.

i hate the nfl over time rules....about 90% of the time the hardest part of OT is winning the flip...drive it about 40 yards and kick it and go to the house..i hate that i think both teams played hard to get to OT atleast let both teams see the ball. (stephen a smith) HOWEVA!! football is a timed game on a 100 yard field, not a limitless game in someones back yard. also i almost wish the pass interference rule was the same as the NFL .. during DB drills our coaches told us if we felt like we got burnt just tackle the guy because you'll take 15 yards over 6 points any day....but that to me is cheap

i'd play on lcm's any day of the week..the players like the short stuff thats quick...if you slip you need better cleats or better fundamentals lol...but seriously bc's grass is notoriously high..it was like running in sand at home then when we went on the road like running on the track.... best field..silsbee hands down

66 cards...2006 cards were great though it was like everyone was best friends...they really loved playing together...without our quarterback getting in a car accident three days before a playoff game i think we would have played in the title game

i would play on the wo-s grass any day of the week... when tarver was at bc the grass was about 5 inches deep everywhere...it was slow but hj always had the worst field...there was alway sand everywhere
