C.O did not allow groves one single first down in that game. I just wish we could have played the Lumberton game. dang you IKE!!!!!!!

That is why it is points allowed and not points scored. There also used to be a rule in place that had you put a whole new backfield in if you are 3 or 4 touchdowns ahead in a game.

Look, you just admitted that your kid would probably not make a good ball handler. How do you think the parents would react at a game if the your coaches rotated the QB and RB position so every kid would get a touch. There would be more post about how inept they are as coaches. I coached for 3 years in the STJFL in Nederland and also served on the board and I heard the same complaint every year. Football is the ultimate team sport and the "grunt work" as you call it is the building block of any offense. I know that NYFA has a complaint form you can fill out to file a formal complaint with the board. You can try it, but I promise that is not a complaint that the board will act on. If anyone does not like who the coaches are, I encourage them to sign up and run for the board so they will have a part in the decision process. Also, you will get the prestigious job of picking up garbage until 9:00 PM on every home game. Good Luck

I agree coop, those numbers are just a little troubling. Those last three games were against 07 Dayton and Lumberton who both had a good playoff run and 08 WOS who will have a good run this year.

This is my concern as an x-player, big fan, and parent of a future Bulldog. In Nederland's previous 3 games dating back to last to last season, they have been outscored by their opponents 129 to 20 and have allowed 1473 yards. "OUCH" :-\

I know what promted it. Mathis found a way to get his hand in the cookie jar just like Joey Odom (USSSA VP of Baseball) does in Lousiana. It is up to Morgan Walker how he affiliates the tournaments at Ford Park. Most of the Houston Complexes have decided to go with Nations Baseball and I am sure Morgan will as well. What I would like to see change is the strangle hold that USSSA put on rosters.

I can assure you that they will not destroy CO Wilson. It will be a hell of a game.

I agree, Lumberton has some beast that carry the ball. They will be good. I did hear they lost a few of their starting lineman off that team. I heard one of them went to Port Neches.

I do remember that game. It was played right before we played and beat Lumberton White. Huge win for us, they were better than WOS who we beat in the Super Bowl. What a great year for Nederland STJFL.

My bad, I couldnt remember BC Red making the playoffs. Was that game against WOS in Nederland?
