1. Dirtball i know your a professional, so i'm asking do you think PG is legit as it used to be? And thanks for posting the names of the kids on the list.
2. There is a house between Softball and Baseball that they dug up the whole front yard and planted Herbs. The fence was hog wire, the gate was made out of a pallet. They had a large Dog that looked more like a Hunter than a Pet, maybe their source of food. Their Porch had a Hammock and i think that was the Master Bedroom. Of course the doors were wide open in the house, the people there had cutoff blue jeans and tattoos all over their body. Now if your going to go all natural and live by mother nature whats up with all the tat's? Nothing natural about that. I sleep, it just takes a lot of beer to get me there. A (I.V.) would be better. ;D Baseball is in Hawaii, Softball in California, and no we didn't go, saving our money to buy Herbs. ::)
3. Your glass is half empty, mine is half full. I'm about getting other kids playing time, your about the chance of rain. Somebody else is going to complain about Saturday games. Somebody else is just going to complain because thats what this board is all about. If you play a Tuesday and Friday Game against the same Team you could still see their #1 twice in a relief role, it has happen many times. Call Austin, Tx. up and tell them they need to change the playoff format cause it might rain.
4. Heard this weekend from a Austin High School Dad that they were going to a different format for District play. They are going to a 3 game series were you play one team a week, they eliminated 1 pre-season tourney to cut the number of games down. This format has many options and i have been saying this for years. 1. You find out who is the best team in the district, not the team with the best arm. 2. #1 cannot throw twice at you in 1 season. 3. Kids that get no pitching time during the District will get time on the hill. 4. Gets your team ready for the playoffs since this is the format they play in. All it would take is local Coaches getting together to agree on it. A Thursday, Friday, Saturday Series would be awesome. Nederland Bulldogs can remember last year Cody and Kirby pitched just about all the games and Ryan got a Scholarship out of a 1 inning performance at a Central Game. Would be nice to see more kids on the mound getting experience and getting looks.
5. Is it Magnolia that brings the big bell to their football games with amps? As far as baseball goes noise makers are made for the girls that play softball.
6. A lot better today, had some bad breaks but the nerves where not there and he pitch better. Making progress. Got his 1st K and his 1st inning pitched. Somebody at work sent a virus to setxsports so they blocked our ip address. Haven't been on in a while. Thanks Patty for the kind words, and your heart will skip a beat when your son is announce on that loud speaker, chills-tears-suspense all in one. A lot of freshmen doing well at U.T., Augie getting them seasoned for the run. HOOK-EM. If you didn't know all ready Austin is weird and anything goes, gotta love it, thinking about moving. ;D
7. Thanks AJ for the info, could you tell me if that is #8-1 1/2" black drywall screws on them ok pitching platforms?
8.
Nederland has 2 cages in the dome gym. And if they can get the bond passed finally they would have an indoor football/baseball facility.
1 Cage, not 2. No room for 2. Softball uses that 1 cage also.

Nederland has 2 cages in the dome gym. And if they can get the bond passed finally they would have an indoor football/baseball facility.
There's a couple of portable bullpen mounds up there too. I think it counts as an indoor facility.
Been there since Noah's Ark, i would not throw on them.
9. At the UT Alumni game 2 home runs were hit during BP by the pros, both just cleared the wall, wind blowing out. The pros were trying real hard to get them out with the new bats. The best ball hit all day was a oppo off the top of the fence by a wooden bat, or a "mother nature god given bat".
10.

Who's the one player you feel will step up and play varsity that is either a freshman or underclassman that so no action last year. It's very hard in 5a or 4a for freshman to contribute but sometimes that special talent comes along. Baseball is around the corner let's get it started.
[img][Hidden Content]]
Always happens, not enough intellect to go around.
11. PNG ex Jon Carnahan named to the President's List of Delta Scholars for compiling a 3.8 to 4.0 grade point average while attempting 12 or more academic hours during the 2010 fall semester. Congrats to Jon. PANEWS.
12. [Hidden Content] Bobcat fans may have seen this guy touch home a few times. Statum! I will be pulling for him all year except for one 3 game series.
13. Okay, Indoor Cages?
Who has them? This weather your going to need them! 1A. 2A. 3A. 4A. PNG, VIDOR, 5A. Westbrook,
14. Felts is #12, he had the smash to center for the sac fly, always being a team player.
15. Who has them? This weather your going to need them! 1A. 2A. 3A. BC, 4A. PNG, VIDOR, 5A. Westbrook,
16. [Hidden Content] The Bobcat, Bulldog, Longhorn and SunDevil Fans may want to watch. Others too.
17. Looks like these guys are on a mission. Defense, tempo, teamwork they are doing it all. Man they are fun to watch.
18. First of all no newbie has made Varsity yet, they may be given the chance but nothing is determined until after the scrimmages. They may think they made Varsity allready, but in reality they haven't and the Varsity Team will be very hard to make. What they need to do is get to work and quit running their mouth or someone on a Varsity squad will humble them. From personal experience it's best to come on a Varsity squad with ears open and mouth shut, player and parent. Respect the players above you and learn from them, respect the parents that have been there and learn from them. I've been to my share of baseball games and never has a parent, player, coach, fan ever measured a homerun. That is just messed up. The W is what counts. 84 MPH U14 Select-88 MPH Varsity-92 MPH Elite Varsity, big difference, if that swing is long forget it. Spoonbill I'm kinda of worried he may be sleeping with the awards and wearing the jersey as a nite-nite. Has the photo on the counter? Hmmm....
19. 1 day after i posted the Texas A&M article, Rivals decided it will no longer carry College Baseball. Kendall Rogers is now on tweet till he finds another site.
20. Nothing to see here, move along. Boxers or Briefs, Bikini's or Thongs, Jock Straps or Free B........  Bigdog you got a link or just going with a rumor.
21.
Next year he'll be joined by Brenham's Ty Schlottman & Chance Bolcerek.
That is great, maybe next year you can do the same thing i did, until then....
22. [Hidden Content] Alex is solid as they come, good luck to him and his family.
