Great Job New Caney.  Your Defense stepped up and shut down a very tough Dayton Offense.

Maybe Adam Dunn Field in New Caney. Big yard and both teams have played and won there. College Station in the Area round and Silsbee in the Regional Semis. It's centrally located in between both schools.

Have heard that Mumford has a nice yard.  Lufkin / Pflugerville played playoff game there a few weeks ago.  Stadium was donated by former Minnesota Viking John Randall.  Not sure how true.  Cant find any pitures on web or a story on it.

I guess it only rains when the Cougars are on D.  Its like the 12th man for them.  Apperantly, to you people, without the rain assistance, Crosby is crappy team.  Obviously, yall are a bunch of insecure Ponies who cant accept that Crosby prepared and executed and Dayton didnt.  Sorry, but facts are facts.  If you turn the ball over that many time, you dont deserve to win. 

Give credit to the Crosby coaches and players for making the adjustments from the beginning of the year.  They are a different team now and are on top of YOUR district......RESPECT 

Hopefully it wont rain on Friday so there will be no crying and excuses not to give Crosby respect.

Never seen HF play, but bet Tarkington gives them more that they want.  Best of luck to Coach Wiggins and his boys.

How were the coaches a hinderance?  The only thing that ANY coach at Tarkington has done is give the kids the best possible opportunity to succeed.  I know the past doesnt show success, but how about maybe the players just not having it in them.  Missing assignments, playing only for themselves, and lack of committment has played a large part in recent years.  To say its the coaches fault is absolutely 100% ridiculos.

Dont let the past fool any of you.  This is a new season and Tarkington got a new outlook an life. Both teams gear up for this game cause its their Super Bowl.  Splendora is 2-1 and Tarkington is 1-1 in district.  I see it on record and by knowing both of the types of kids, they are evenly matched up this year.  And by no means is any Longhorn calling themselves world beaters. Tarkington has finally got some confidence so dont hate because they arent in dead last again this year. 

the Longhorns look better than they have in a while. new offens. new defense.  it will be a dogfight till the end, but when the smoke clears, for the first time in years and years and years, TARKINGTON WINS!!!!!!!! the bell is headed back to T-Town

Horns fought tooth and nail till the end to get their first district win since '04 against Cleveland.  Excited for the kids and expecially the coaches that have been there for the past few long years.  Keep it up T-Town and good luck the rest of the way.............

Seen Tullos' boys play and their pretty dang good.  Their talent level this year is unbelievable. BUT, you can't compare a 3A to a 5A.  NC EAGLES!!!!

Orangefield BIG.  Another homecoming loss for the T-Town Longhorns.

I think this will be closer than last years game(39-0), but the same result.  Hardin Wins tonite.  Tarkington has a different defense with their new DC, but the kids are still the same.  If they get behind by more than 14 early in the 1st half, might as well call it a night.

Should be a pretty good series.  Needville will be ready to play, especially after getting a taste last year in the 1st game before losing the series in 3.  I know N'ville got a solid core on this years team and will give BC a run, but Im going to say BC.  They are just too powerful.  Bridge City in 3......
