If there are three or four guys that are in the discussion, I always ask myself what would their teams look like if they traded places.  I think GCM would be about the same with Ploch instead of Allen, but I think Dayton would not be as good with Allen instead of Ploch.
Probably true because they wouldn't use him on defense.....
2. ROT....move to DAYTON...GASP........
3. If it's not a beauty contest then why the picture ???
4. Ah but I already lived there where they speak Itairachijaprusarafrespagalaneseicanan with a Puerto Rican accent'...it takes a month or two to catch on ;).
5. That's always the question....give me the choice and I'm taking Ploch for his offense, defense, and special teams.
6. You would think so and it's amazing because the band has ALWAYS done that....especially in the 4th quarter running a no-huddle and our stands are making noise when we have the ball and are trying to call a play.  EVERYONE....quiet when we have the ball and LOUD when they have the ball...wait for the play to start then cheer when we have the ball!!
7. Galena Park's stadium is the standard however....that and the Berry Center.  Here's one though....can we put a get loud sign on the electronic scoreboard when they have the ball and a "quiet" sign on there when we have the ball??
8. When I think of MVP, I think of Impact Player.  Merka is solid but not an impact player.  Allen, Ploch, and Viv (sp.) are game changers who have to be accounted for on every play.  I might even tend to agree with Ranger that no one is more valuable to his team than Allen with Viv right there.
Well we can't complain about coaching, we don't have a shortage of talent, we have a new stadium, and years of playoff runs. I guess the only thing we can debate is the concession food. Scratch that, the sausage and turkey legs at the Booster Club concession are the best hands down!
Yea but the lines are WAY TOO LONG.  What's with the fencing under the stands?  Also, we don't have enough parking closer to the stadium.  Alright I admit I had to dig pretty deep for those complaints....
And my gosh, PLEASE turn down the PA system during the game. There is really no need to have speakers on the visitor side. The home side is ear popping loud enough. What are y'all deaf? (We know where y'all spent your playoff $$$)
Some of us are deaf thank you!!  Too much artillery in the services....Visitors side used to be the home side so of course there are speakers over there ;).
10. Man Diamond that was quick....those were tongue in cheek sort of complaints really.  Bronco1 is right....not too much to complain about.  There's always room for debate though.

This afternoon on 97.5 ESPN Radio, they said that the trainer hooks an IV to both of Schumacker's thighs for an hour before every game. They do the same thing to NASCAR drivers before they race on hot days, but they only put one IV into one arm.
El Burro has blue agave ummm...errr..."saline solution" pumped in the same way as Schumacher's...and has had the Virgen De Guadalupe painted on his kicking "taco" (Mexican slang for cleat).  sadly he is not ambidextrous footed like Schumacher.
I am too ambidextrous but why kick with both feet if you can do better with one....unless the snapper is left handed....then I go right.  I don't get the IV anymore either....I have one of those insulin pumps so I get a constant flow....
13. The QB from BH would get my vote with Ploch in second and Allen in third.

15. Since we really don't seem to debate anything on here anymore.....too much purple kool-aid :)!
16. Yea possibly true....JMO put the 2003 defense with the 2008 offense and I'd throw them against 2008 LT and expect a win. Doesn't really matter just some opinion for debate.
17. I don't really think that's quite a fair comparison based on the stats.  The 2007 team actually had a really good offense to put on the field and the defense was great but didn't have to WIN the games.  Don't get me wrong....the 2007 defense was really really good just don't think it was the best defense we had.

Billy Joe and El Burro are for real though...they have yet to tangle in 6 man football, but I see a day when the two will be exchanging point afters and field goals...
Of course El Burro is for real....he is ME:)!!
19.

i am sorry. it is coaching that is the hill's problem. if Jerry stewart comes to bh they become the new powerhouse in the district. Good coaching helps couch out all of the mental mistales kids make continually. another thing is price does not give a crap about his kids. stewart helps his kids get opportunities to play at the next level. price does not.
^^^^^ Agreed  ;D But i doubt it ever happens . Jerry gets paid pretty well over there in dayton . My son was approached by Jerry stewart back when he was a youngster telling him to keep up the excellent work . my sons been in that atmosphere . then moved out of dayton into Barbers Hill where i graduated back in 1982 and the atomosphere has changed quite a bit . not the same as it used to be . Barbers hill still has athletes
When you find a good one you gotta do whatever it takes to keep him and we all know we've got one of the absolute best here in Dayton.
20. Wow two shots at me.  You're right I'm not the eternal optimist; just call 'em like I see 'em.  Believe me when I say this...Dayton has MORE talent this year then they did last year but have not put it all together as of yet.  Yes, last year's team had 2 of the absolute best HS Football players I've ever seen but I don't believe the supporting cast was as good as this year's.  Ploch is an absolute stud though and the youngsters have a ton of talent and they're starting to find their way.  One thing you will find is that I believe 100% in the coaching staff and if there's a way to win then they're going to find it.
21. I wouldn't jump too far off the bandwagon.  Dayton has been playing erratic all year mainly due to quite a bit of youth on the field but they have shown when they put it together they can be downright awesome.  If they can get consistent and get on a roll they can beat anyone in this region, large or small.
22. Just two more weeks until the playoffs start....looking forward to it.  A number of quality teams again this year in SETX and looking forward to all the playoff excitement.
23. BH doesn't seem to believe in their coach these days :(
24. Ah man, that's just wrong right there......
25. Wow Ranger....like the new picture....slightly anyway....haha
