No, the St. Pius game was supposed to be in Little Cypress.
Dropping a game on short notice and leaving a team that already had to scramble for games because of Harvey short? This closely resembles the droppings of a barnyard bird!
Looks like someone became a bit Gunnell shy!
100% agree St Pius is the real deal this season. My little cousin plays for Kelly and he said the team doesn't fear anybody this year but I'm scared for them. From what I've heard St Pius is year end year out an amazing football program.

How that freshman running back look
What middle school did he attend I heard rumbles of a good middle school back last season. Not sure if it's the same young man

What a great match up!!! i think Newton pulls it off but it will be close. 28-17 Newton
-
West Brook looks very good this year. They will be a tough team this year. Congrats to the Bruins on a great game!!

What's everyone score prediction for the game. I think Central can matchup with Memorial I just don't know how long they can sustain it with Memorials depth this year

Legacy beat the worst team in kelly history last year. Only 29-14 that says something.....legacy should be embarrassed since they are so good lol. 29-14 to a kelly team that lost 428-28 last year. Legacy had all that talent last year and still couldn't do anything with it. Still couldn't get out of the first round. So let me go ahead speak before anyone else can cause I know it's coming....."when was the last time kelly made the playoffs?" It was 2015!! well it I hate talking about the past so that's the last I'll talk about it. I hope they have a good season this year as to every team In SETX. I love highschool football and I love good debates. I'm looking forward to the rest of the season

Who does legacy play this week? A bunch of 86 year old women?

I think you are letting your fervor for the Bulldogs get in the way of the facts.
Legacy was supposed to start district two weeks ago. But both that game (which is the game they played this weekend) and the Houston Lutheran North game last week had to be postponed. As Legacy did not have a game in Week 1, there were no open weeks for it to make up the lost games without dropping its game with Kelly (which happened to be their lone non-district affair). TAPPS did some revamping of their schedule, but many teams lost their remaining open date and Legacy had to give up their game with Kelly.
As to last weekend, if you look at Legacy's revamped schedule, for last week it says "Hurricane Recovery." That phrase I think you can attribute to many residents and schools last week. There area a number of area teams who felt that their school was not ready to even scrimmage.
And I understand that. From what I heard the whole situation was handled poorly by the athletic director at legacy and administration. No one ever touched base with kelly to inform them of any of that. Which if that's true and no one returned any phone calls to kelly from legacy that leads me to believe that they were scared and wanted nothing to do with kelly. That's all I am saying. Don't quote me on that that's what I have heard and that's what I'll believe until someone proves me otherwise.

I say at least 5. Probably 49-9 or something similar
Yeah and legacy can play another 6 man team and still be considered good lol. Kelly beats HJ by 10

Hj is not the same Hj. And they are not a good 4a team this year. Their strongest part is their defensive line for sure. Other then that cause they changed their offense up and it defiantly doesn't suit the kids they have they will definatly struggle. The Bulldogs will keep it close and pull it out in the 4th

I still don't know for sure what happened with that. I think the two schools couldn't come to an aggreement but don't hold me to that. I'm not too sure. But yes kountze was on the schedule.

waterboy I can guarantee you 100% that's not true. Legacy wanted no part of kelly. Kelly was trying to at least scrimmage them last weekend on Saturday and I heard the head coach over there wouldn't even return a phone call or nothing. Legacy wanted no part of kelly this year I can guarantee you that. Lol that made me laugh though. Kelly running from legacy. Hahaha

I am looking forward to a great bulldog football season! That was a well coached desciplined football team yesterday. Kelly football is alive again!! Coach Smith has done a tremendous job so far as well as the other coaches. Hardin Jefferson better watch out next week. Go Bulldogs
-
This week against Hardin Jefferson. We all know who the real private school is in Beaumont and it sure isn't in 105
-
Yup to the number 3 team in tapps 5a that lost in the state championship in double overtime last year.
-
I'll leave that alone............what about the fact that logos prep put up 21 points on legacy? It's ok though, I can promise those coaches and players wanted no part of the bulldogs this year!!
-
A second year program in logos prep put up 21 points on legacy??? Am I reading this right? I guess I fully understand now why legacy cancelled the kelly game this year.

Wow, can't believe you asked that question...
Ozen keeps firing coaches before they can get their system rolling. I'm asking how many does he need to win to be able to keep developing his team. Rereading I guess I can see how that could come off as disrespect but I meant it as wanting to know if he will be able to stay to continue to build

Kelly is better than most people realize this year. They have the real deal in Coach Smith and are being taught how to play fundamental football again like they use to. They will be fun to keep up with this season
-
How many games does Coach Taylor have to win to keep his job this season?
