  2. Hate to see you go, good luck @ Churchhill
  3. Speaking of lack of class......nice post soccermum, your true colors shining through. Good win last night Dogs, good luck to the few remaining teams from our area, we had a few early setbacks so far.
  4. I was at the game, MT was not a good team. Yates pressed them out of the gym. Other than their press, was not overly impressed by Yates, I have seen better teams come through Region III. Watched Kimball beat LBJ, Kimball will handle the press better, but no one shot the ball from the outside (they really did not need to). It just seemed like organized chaos out there. Yates should win by double digits.
  5. With Boutte on the bench, you know Ozen is still alive.
  6. It looks great for 5A, LaPorte and Ball should always be on the schedule, those were some great games way back against TJ. Same kind of teams, people, cities. Oh, and Central would be getting a major screw job.
  7. Who played a better game? I know it was 0-0, but who controlled the midfield, shots on goal, etc. I saw the first game and NHS was a better team on that day, though they lost 2-1. How was it this time, who controlled it? Or was it just a plain old 0-0 even game.
  8. Other than that Waller score, looks like the Triangle had a good showing. Congrats to all the teams.
  9. Who did Vidor lose to? And I know Brenham always has a tough squad, but I would think PNG could handle their JV.
  10. Ozen may have a lot of heart, but not a prayer to win this district. NHS wins, may drop a game somewhere (PNG, Central, LCM) but no real worries if they play there game. But if a few injuries, grades become an issue, you never know.
  11. Holy cow, I almost teared up just reading this. Great story.
  12. Sorry Cheez, I have not seen Silsbee play, no disrespect to the Tigers.
  13. Keep us posted on Central, not an easy line up of teams to face.
  14. The system coach B runs is the type that can win playoff games. He could probably put 3 guys up forward and beat Silsbee 13-0, but that style will get you beat 6-1 against some of the powerhouses they will face. This is the time to get it right and it will be for the best in the long run.
  15. I say NHS 114 - Livingston 37! Naw, it will be close, NHS by 4.
  16. 1 & 2 are the Bmnt schools, 3-7 could be anyone. Sorry Lumberton, not this year. I do thinks NHS actually will make the playoffs, unbelievable!
  17. I don't recall saying L was a bad coach, make sure and reread the post. I stand by eveything I wrote, those NHS kids are positioning and passing like they are well into the season. With the tough predistrict schedule they have, they will be ready for a nice playoff run. If you watched the game, you would agree with my statement, its not rocket surgery. Good luck to Lumberton, I don't think they have any worries in their district.
