  1. I think yates will pull away, but the longer seven lakes stays in the game the better chance they have to put pressure on yates
  2. End of 1st Yates 22 Seven Lakes 17
  3. For those who follow Houston basketball. Scores from the Aldine ISD tournament. Aldine 71 Madison 51 Eisenhower 59  Sam Houston 53 Washington 69 MacArthur 66 Bellaire 64  Hastings 44 Cy Ranch 59  Furr 57 Friendswood 59  NO Walker 47 Nimitz 76  Sharpstown 53
  4. Believe me Yates is scary good. They have one of the most consistent PG in the state, probably the best athlete in the state, and possibly  the best shooter in the state. They are well conditioned, and go 15 deep. They will do just fine in the national tournaments.
  5. They don't play their games their. Their home games are played at Barnett Stadium. They occasionally play a couple of games there.
  6. Yates will get their test when they head to the prestigous Iolani Classic in Hawaii. Here is the link to the tournament [Hidden Content]. They will also play in the T-Mobile Invitational in Birmingham Alabama
  7. Memorial lost to Kimball by staying in their press while Kimball was breaking it with ease, their guards were strong with the ball, and went up 17 on Memorial, Memorial rallied and took the lead late in the game but missed some crucial free throws and a big layup and Kimball scored at the buzzer on a blown defensive assignment.
  8. Katy 14 Atascocita 0 2nd
  9. West Brook 13 Hightower 7 9:00 2nd, no radio coverage I know of
  10. No rivalry at all, thats just the way Yates plays, 32 minutes of heck!!!! They are pressing in your face as soon as they get off the bus.
  11. Coop thats what I heard too after the game. We shall see.
  12. They really dont run up the score, they just play the way they play for all 4 qtrs which is full court non stop press as soon as they get off of the bus. They are extrememly deep so even when they clear the bench they are better than some starting fives.
  13. We had our PA Heat team this past summer, with Shaq White, Darrius Harris, Dionte Forney, but other than that those were the only two summer teams that really traveled and played in big time tournaments.
