1. Its so tough to win on the road in any conference let alone one as tough as the Big 12. That might not be the only game Texas loses this year.
Yeah 2 turnovers is way too many. But Balbay took great care of the ball with only 6 TO'S/
I don't know where you got that from, Brown had 2 turnovers in 30 seconds in the second half ! But it wasn't just him. They all had a terrible game.
I always check my sources before I post [Hidden Content]

 6. I watched them play in the Gamble classic and they were solid. Good shooters, good inside play. Heard the refs were horrible out there. Not the first time I have heard that when Texas teams cross the state line.
 7. Also, why all the uproar now. If you have seen Yates play the last three years since Wise has been there you know thats how they play. I have said all along that they may hit 200 points more than once in district because their district is so weak.
 8.

I don't like they pressed for so long but if Lee doesn't want to get scored on so much, play better defense. This is almost exactly like a football team scoring 70. Nothing ever gets said about that.
Am hearing a rumor that the Yates team is essentially an AAU all star team.  Any truth to that?
I have heard they have some "sponsors" which would lead me to believe that they do have some ties to an AAU team.  How in the world does an inner city school in Houston ISD fund a trip for their basketball team to travel to Hawii for a tournament.  Maybe they had a bake sale to raise the $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.
As far as the being an AAU team thats false. The tournament sponsors paid for everything except airfare in which they have been raising money for that since last year.
 9. Yes he is a senior, spent two seasons at Lee JC
 10. Yeah they won by 31 108-77 Joe Young ended with 43 points, no one in the state can play with these guys.
 11. That maybe true about the rankings but there are some quality teams and players in this tournament. The best game maybe the LaMarque/Washington Marion matchup in the 1st round.
