All BS aside, I really do think Riggs is a nightmare for your Pirates Defensive Coordinator. The Kid has the hands and speed to get it done from anywhere on the field. Really blessed to have him in the purple and white!

I don't know what to think about The past coach and the present coach. You should be happy with what you got, We have a coach who is a offensive guru, everyone likes to win. well most people anyway. When Burnett was coaching yes the defense could tackle, but with the exception of Dustin Long all we did was run sweeps around the end and traps up the middle, didn't have much of a passing game to say the least. Me myself and I love to see a mixture of both passing and running the ball, it works for me with the system he has in place. Now with the defense well as for seniors playing, if a younger classmen is better at a position than a senior well he should start. it is what it is, like ole Stattrax says the coach is paid to win if he doesn't win he doesn't have a job, period! But then again ole Stattrax didn't think we could beat PAM and well you know what happened there. Sometimes actions speak louder than words, I say the proof is in the pudding, we are undefeated and that's all that matters keep that finely tuned machine rolling!!

humble pie huh, well we shall see. I look For PNG to come in run the ball throw the ball and catch the ball all night long. We just need the defense to make a few stops here and there just as they did in the second half against Pam. IM not gonna take Vidor lightly but im going into the game thinking we are gonna dust the stadium off with a big win. Im hoping our defense comes into this game with a lil swagger. Lord knows they need a lot of confidence. I am ready for Fridays game just hope the weather holds off I have been sick for two weeks don't need a relapse. Seems Soulja1 is an expert on Vidor this year since he has seen them twice, I can understand him wanting a PNG loss but again this week I don't see it happening.

yeah when the ran the hook and ladder play we had already hung 50plus on them, they did that on backups, good gimmick play but was all for not. lol they were run out the dome and that was from opening kickoff lol

we played Silsbee twice that year, beat em in Silsbee like 56-3 or some crazy stuff like that then in Port Arthur those boys came out with fire in their eyes and almost beat us.

yup before the year started my classmate James Ware asked me what I thought PNG would do that year I told him we were going to the big show. I told him this was the most talented, physical, mentally fundamentally sound football team that I had ever watched at PNG. Both sides of the ball were loaded with talent 3 deep at every position. True business, he laughed at me and said if they did he would interview me on the news as I was the only one he had talked to with a crazy response like that. Well he didn't put me on the news because he said they wouldn't be able to bleep out all my cussing lol, seems I swear a lot. lol But in the end I was right, I had predicted the end result, cannot believe they went 14-1 going into the state finals, you are right what a year it was.

yep myself and Stattrax made every game, including scrimmage at Dayton where their coach had their offensive line jump on Golke after ever play which resulted in Golke slamming one of the players and the fight was on. Needless to say the scrimmage was cancelled and the rest went down in the record books.

I hear ya, Its all good . I just don't put no stock into rankings, its meaningless, hell in 99-00 we played NED who was 9-0 ranked #9 in the state at the rez and whooped em 31-8 with us being 8-1 only losing to WOS. Whipped Lamarque who was also ranked 22-8 Beat a Shertz Clemmons top 5 ranked team in the semis. Then out of nowhere all of a sudden they wanna rank PNG, whatever I liked whipping everyone unranked and unknown, something about that that just makes it feel better.

yup in Aldine at that!!! the next week WOS whooped someone 84-0 so it wasn't quite so bad lol

would be a damn good match up, normally always is with the exception of the twins tearing us up a few years back, but in reply Lee and Livingston are in the same classification as LCM and Jasper are smaller. Regardless Crosby lights up the scoreboard at will also.

who cares about rankings, just keep winning every Friday and make a good run in playoffs, Rankings don't make or break you.

man where is all the NED faithful at. I haven't really seen much movement out of them since they said we would lose to PAM and couldn't score 35 points. I was surprised that they fell short against Central. Curious to see how they rebound this week.

our defense is down because we have a pro offensive coach who puts the studs on offense and uses the law of supply and demand for the defense. Basically the defense is just thrown together with the players left after the offense is stacked.
