Playing victim as if they are being attacked or accused of any wrongdoing. I'm not sure what he would have to be spiteful about given the evidence and circumstances. Let's see if LCM changes tune tomorrow in front of the UIL.

The winner/loser of this game has no effect whatsoever in my life. The coach is going to take the fall I know the focus is on him but it's the entire coaching staff. It's the arrogance being displayed. You want to hold 10 people with opinions accountable on the forum, yet you are ok with a coach showing the young men he mentors to avoid accountability and integrity.

At this point with video of the LCM player handing over the watch to an assistant coach. I am going to use critical thinking skills. The assistant coach lied during the meeting. He then owns up to it in the same meeting. He is now the face of the whole scandal and will face the jury. It goes way beyond that. LCM knew what they had. They used it to gain a huge advantage in a big game LCM staff has lied from half time of the BC -LCM game and the days following. Anyone who does not believe the watch was used by the LCM staff during the first half needs to be honest with themselves. They are really looking worse in this situation each day by continuing to lie and act offended they are being accused of cheating. No Accountability & No Integrity

That's great to hear wonder if he will get Defensive Coordinator calls after the shut out he helped pitch in the first half of the BC game. I am of the understanding this is a message board where these types of things are discussed daily?

If you are naive enough to think that Gonzales had no idea what he was holding in his hand and simply tossed it aside, I have some beachfront property for sale in Kansas if anyone is interested. Also the old saying holds true it much easier to tell the truth than to keep up with the lie.

I have never seen an unsportsmanlike penalty be awarded with a TD ( sarcasm ) I think the proof is video evidence they obtained the watch...then lied. Can you explain the need to lie with PROOF

The only thing that made sense in this was BC and LCM are focused on two different things. BC is trying to hold LCM accountable and show integrity LCM wants to avoid both.

I do not understand just give BC the win. They had equipment stolen in game that gave LCM a huge advantage for an entire half of a must win game. LCM took the easy road then lied about it.

A lot of what ifs in that ... I'll just go with how the game played out . First half 17-0 LCM with BC play calls in hand . Second half 16-7 BC against a watchless LCM Defensive Coordinator. Another coincidence...that was probably the best half of football for the LCM defense this year.

I would say it didn't hurt. Come on acting like having every offensive play call in the first half didn't play a part is naive 😂

Gaining a competitive advantage is 100% a part of sports. Sign stealing , deflating footballs, ect..ect Why shouldn't Smalley be pissed in the scenario above. I think anyone on his side of the situation is pissed right now. At the time that game goes a long way for the DC. At the end of the day no rules were truly broken. Lying during and afterwards on having the watch is definitely low on the integrity scale ... especially if video shows otherwise.
