1. I think to Evadale as an assistant.
2. Looks like a good opening weekend forecast. Moon is bright though.
3. There was nothing better than listening to Milo call the game. Spent many a day driving to work or at work listening to him.
4. Buna and Kountze definetly lost a lot due to graduation. Kirbyville brings back a talented pitching duo. Anahuac was young as well. I agree with the you guys on the rankings. This is always a competitive district and this year will not be an exception.
5. Warren lost some key players to graduation but also return some key players. Some move-in's look to be some big contributors as well as some solid sophomores. A big plus ( and minus for football) is that most of these kids did not play football this year so that they could concentrate on baseball only.
6. Seems weird to see the defense keeping us in a game.
7. Kyler has some wheels. Defense has looked good so far. Myles is a beast and Daylon in on a few tackles.
8. tvc... We will be thinking of you.   I am sure you will make up for it when you do get to go.
9. Awesome to hear olddad.  Best of luck to your crew this season.
10. Well it looks like several hunters prayers were answered for this weekend.  How awesome is that weather forecast?
11. olddad that is usually my look as well.  Seems like when I am not ready the deer are.  Never has really seem to go as planned.  At least you are making sure another one is ready to carry on the tradition.  We need the youth to help carry on.
12. I hate seeing that to. Some real trophies have been killed that way.
13. You better plan on hunting the next couple of days then. Tomorrow morning sounds just right.
14. Those are some big body bucks.  It looks like the brow tine on the first buck is already broke off.  I wouldn't think they are fighting that bad yet.  Second buck must have got injured last year to have the side all jacked up.  Neat rack though.
15. Olddad the dogs and coyotes seem to be a common problem.  Might have to make some homemade meatballs up!
16. I live in Wildwood and the deer herd there is outstanding. Seen some good bucks in there this year.  Hopefully they travel your way.  I am one of the many that keep them fattened up for you year round.
17. I have noticed more coyote sign as well.  Also more dog pictures.  Not sure if wild or pets.  They don't look poor nor do they have collars.  Either way they are under my feeder to much.  5 gallon , where are you at in Warren?  I am down 1943West.
18. Saturday should definetly turn things around. Glad to hear from someone else in Warren that had the same luck as me.  I do have a scrape on the ground though.  It has not been worked in a while but is in a location where there is one every year.  Some buck is starting to think about it.  Always a good sign!
19. One 6 pt walked by me Saturday morning. That is all I saw. Hunting in Warren.
20. Tired of looking at game camera pictures.  Ready to see it live.  I will be there at first light but ready to go probably an hour later when I can't take the sweating any longer.  Can't enjoy hunting that much when sweating severly.
21. Thanks for the updates! I have it DVR'd but wondering how he would do has been killing me.  Sounds like he went in wanting to silence the critics and sounds like he did.
22.

My honest opinion is Kountze beats Hardin, Woodville, Warren, Kirbyville, Anahauc and drops game with Newton...(of course there could be the upset of the decade, after all Warren beat Woodville last year...but not counting on that...lol!) but I don't think anyone will come out with a win against Newton. EC and Kountze will be playing for the two hole. Like I say this is just all speculation. I watched Kountze in pads Friday and I was truly impressed and look forward to scrimmage this coming week!
Playing against your teammates doesn't tell you anything about how they'll perform under the Friday night lights. Kountze is much improved. But Newton and EC are locks. Kville has made the playoffs 3 of the last 5 years (including 2 state championship game appearances). Woodville has made it 3 of the last 5. Anahuac made it several years in a row before Barbay left. Kountze hasn't made it in I'm not sure how long, but not any time recently. Kountze has some talent. But they have some proving to do before I consider them one of the top teams in this very tough 2A district. Newton, EC, Kville, Woodville, Anahuac, and Kountze are all contenders. And Warren could make some noise. Although, I do agree that noone will touch Newton this year! Good luck to all the teams in the district this year! I plan on watching as many games as I can this year!
Warren make some noise?.. cmon I'm all about being positive but let's be real
Why couldn't you have stopped at just saying "I'm all about being positive"?
23. Named to 1st team All-State as second base as well. I wonder what more you need to get a scholarship offer!
24. Senior Bryce Glosson will be representing Warren in this years game.  Very deserving honor to a fine young man. Warrior Nation is so happy for you.
25. Congrats Cody on winning at state. Warren is proud of you!
