  1. Thanks Claude. I am ready for Hurricane season to end. This is getting old.
  2. Thanks for the response Marty. If anyone hears anything please keep us updated. I am waiting on buying groceries for six games in Warren.
  3. Anybody hearing anything about games this weekend?
  4. Warren did look good. No one had them picked to win and they did. Score should have been worse. For a young team they suprised me.
  5. Half my team is not waiting around. They are already leaving and will miss our 5pm game in Warren. Can you blame them? All parents said that they would rather be safe and also beat the traffic.
  6. From all the folks in Warrior Nation, we would like to wish everyone playing good luck with the upcoming season. We are looking forward to our second year in Lonestar and hope to build on what we have started.
  7. Even though we are picked last in about every poll, I still have to hope and go with my Warriors!
  8. Brandon Young from Warren clocked an 11.0 at Corrigan meet last week. This was his first time to run the 100 at a meet also.
  9. Warren lost some key seniors but also return some key juniors in Brandon Young (FS/WR), James Blackshear (CB/RB), Colt Kelly (QB), Brazos Morris (RB/LB) & Blake Riley(LB). These guys had an impact last year and should help the transition next year. I think we will better than last as some other people predicted.
  10. Warren will return enough key starters to compete. O-Line was hit the hardest but we return starters at crucial positions. That is always a plus when looking at upcoming seasons.
  11. Warren did look fairly well considering the transition from football to basketball was only a short time ago. As mentioned earlier, the boys looked like they understood where they needed to be offensively and defensively. Need to work on breaking the press a liitle better but that will come. Good ball movement and great play from off the bench. The Jazz Band was awesome. They sounded really good and brings more to an already excited atmosphere. It was nice to see a full gym early in the season. Warren supporters need to keep this up all season because the boys will be fun to watch this year. I think the "chicken" should be our good luck charm.
  12. From all the fans in Warren, Good Luck Bucs. Let the folks in 23-2a see where the real football district is at.
  13. Warren will take this one easily! They have had two weeks off and should be well prepared. It will a steady dose of # 42. Warren - 21 Anahuac - 6
  14. I agree. When mistakes are made on the field, you do not see much getting on to on the sideline. Nor do you see much motivating to fire them up.
  15. I agree that Kountze will not stop Hardin's air attack. Warren did well on passing against Kountze and we are not known for our passing. Hardin - 28 Kountze - 12
  16. I agree that this game had some of the hardest hitting I've seen all season. On both sides. If Warren could only have been playing this physical and had Brody been kicking PAT's from the start, we would have a better record. # 3 from D-Ville is going to be something in the next two years. He ran really well in this game. Warren's defense put on a nice show and came up big on crucial plays. Offense mixed up the pass a little which is nice to see.
  17. I'm going to have to take EC by at least a Touchdown. All season everyone has been gunning for EC and Tramain and yet they have prevailed. This being said, I think EC will hold up better under the pressure and Buna might just stumble enough to cost them that one drive that would be the difference in the game. Good luck to both teams. One thing is for sure, it will definetly be football weather.
  18. I think both teams are not what they were last year. Both had power runners to rely on. If Warren's offense is clicking then I look for them to take this one at home??? Warren - 19 DV - 12
