Dayton is a very tough team. that quarterback is a playmaker, and i was very impressed with smesny. was he all-state last year? because he is tough. the fight was just one of those things. 1 player from wos got ejected and 1 from dayton so it was even, and it's over. i really enjoyed the fine display of running wos put on in the second half. its what i call good old fashioned mustang football. i wish dayton all the success this season.

wos is putting new goal posts up this year. no more H's i think we were one of the last schools in the area with H style goal posts

i cant wait for this one. i don't like to make predictions for mustang games, but it should be a great game. if it's close in the end i think the game will come down to conditioning.

i saw the kid on the way to my car. he was on crutches but was laughing and seemed to be in good spirits. i hope it's not too serious of an injury.

are those new uniforms for central or have they had those for a while? i like them 8)

of course the biggest rivalry in this area is pn-g vs. nederland. i also think that ned vs. wo-s was becoming a big rivalry too. hopefully the stangs and bulldogs can find a way to play each other in the future.

i cant wait for week 1 either. it should be a great game. hopefully it will become a opening week tradition for the stangs and broncos to get together.

i think the key for them to be in the thick of the playoff race is to beat either pn-g or nederland. if they can beat both of them they will probably get in. it will be a tough task though, because both games are on the road at 2 of the toughest places to play in the district. just an early prediction: 1. dayton 2. central 3. nederland/lc-m/pn-g
