in this order 1. wos-not the biggest guys in the district, but they take pride in being very physical on defense 2. jasper-one of the most physical teams in the area on both offense and defense 3. silsbee-big guys that can get physical on both offense and defense.

i wouldn't say its our make or break game because it's the first game of the season. however, the season opener against a tough dayton team will give us a good early indicator on where are strengths are at, and where we need improvement.

i thought png had a good team last year with some very good athletes. i realize the expectations are high for success at png, but you got to remember its hard to get a playoff spot in that 4A district with dayton, central, and nederland in the mix. im sure png will be back in the playoff mix soon.

at wos its 300 to left and right, 325 to the power alleys and 350 to center.

i have respect for all the teams on this list. i wish we could play all those teams every year, well maybe not all in one year. that would be too much. my favorite team to play has always been nederland, because win or lose its always an exciting game.

BC had a pretty tough team in 1996, they came up only one game short of making the playoffs that year. since the new decade began in 2000 BC has had success putting together some good teams that are very competitive. im not sure how many times they've been to the playoffs this decade but i do know they made it to the semi-finals, i cant remember which year though. of course you cant forget about the great BC teams in 60's that won the state championship.
