Was a very good game to watch last night.  Both teams fought hard all the way to the very end, congrats to Deweyville on the win and to the Lady Cards for giving them everything you had and more.  Good luck to both teams the rest of the way. Final score was 39 - 34 Deweyville

game was close until midway through 3rd quarter.  Plus H.I. was without service of their head coach, out for family reasons.  But they played well in his absence.

[/quote] Saw that, don't see how Evadale did with the way that they are playing.  High Island is still looking to find themselves right now.  But it's the number at the end that counts not the one right now.

1A stuff is wrong, because Evadale is ranked in Division I and High Island is ranked in Division 2.  Check it out on TABC website

[/quote] The other thing about the kids transfering to Sabine Pass, is that they have to meet a very high standard in terms of attendance, discipline and TAKS scores.  So not all of those kids who want to transfer get to get in.  SP coaches have told alot of people about those standards.  If you don't believe this ask one of the coaches.

Just learned that High Island will be playing Brookeland on Nov. 9 starting at 4:30 with J.V..  Game vs. Anahuac was cancelled due to scheduling conflict.
