[/quote] [/quote] With all of the work that is taking place around the school, administration just wants to try and keep it up to par.  You guys saw what was going on with our roof on the gym.  When bball is over, they are going to go in and fix up the front of the gym, new doors and entrance, along with new doors on the back of the gym as well.  Plus fix up the locker rooms.  Its just alot of things that are long over due.

West Hardin @ Sabine Pass Spurger @ Hull - Daisetta Evadale @ High Island Thoughts?  West Hardin, Hull and if the Lady Cards can handle Evadales pressure, they could keep it close.  But that why we play the game.

High Island @ Hull - Daisetta Evadale vs. West Hardin Spurger vs. Sabine Pass Thoughts?    Evadale, Spurger, and the High Island/Hull game could be very interesting.  I'm going with H.I. of course, the Lady Cards are on a roll right now and how huge could it be for them to beat Hull.

Depends on if Hardin got their injuried players back.  If they are there, could be along night for Deweyville.  If they don't play, Deweyville could beat them in my opinion.  But either way good luck to both teams.

High Island is 2 - 0 in district play Congrats ladies on a hard fought win.  You came out a little sluggish to start, but got it going in the second quarter.  And congrats to West Hardin on a hard fought game as well, you never quit and made High Island work for everything they got.

Curious about that also.  Have seen them (W.H.) play the H.I. girls (Deweyville Tourny), they are physical but haven't seen anything to make them dirty players.

High Island    10 Woodville      59 The Lady Eagles were just too much for the Lady Cards tonight. They greatly deserve that #3 ranking in state. Best of luck to the Lady Eagles as they set their sights on Austin and perhaps a state championship. Lady Cards, put this behind you and get ready for district play on Friday.

Maybe they can have an off night tomorrow against High Island ;D

After seeing both of these teams play High Island, I will give the edge to Deweyville.  They just have a few more weapons than Warren does.  But good luck to both teams.

High Island    39 Deweyville    43 I think this was the best game between these two teams over the last two years.  They are getting to where they know each other so well, that it's starting to become an even match up.  Congrats to Deweyville on a hard fought win, and to the Lady Cards great job on a hard fought game.  Good luck to both teams next week.

High Island  42 (won 3rd place) Onalaska    25 High Island  58 Woodville j.v. 38 (this is a very scrappy group of young ladies, they never quit and fought the whole game.  Woodville has a bright future with these girls.)

Onalaska  31 High Island  29 Girls said that they didn't play real well today, Christmas layoff.  They will be ready for tomorrow though they said.

Onalaska vs. High Island @ 10:00 (winner of this game gets Woodville @ 3:00  :o) Woodville j.v. vs. Brookeland @ 11:30 Basically everyone will be playing for second or third.  But it will be good for the Lady Cards to get some games in before district play starts, I know that they will play Deweyville on Jan. 2 at home.  They then travel to Woodville again to take on the Lady Eagles, before going to Sabine Pass to take on the Sharks.
