Guys the reason I made this post was because listening to the football game last night on here I heard how a lot Lumberton people were leaving early and it really made me feel sorry for the boys. I am glad that not everyone deserted them. I listened until the very end. Of course not being there I can't see what is going on only hear about it. I felt for the boys but I was also VERY PROUD of them!

The real crow eaters should be the ones who said, "Well, Lumberton got lucky and just won their only football game of the season, hope it felt good," after we beat Dayton in the first game. Lumberton proved those people wrong! Thanks for backing us up Bullets! Like Bullets said we can eat steak tonight and be happy and thankful for what our boys did and the way they united a community together!

LR1969- It's so much better than it was when I was there. I was very impressed when I talked to my dad one night at one of the games and could not hear him. I told my parents that next day that I was coming down for the Lumberton/Nederland game to see the party first hand if Lumberton won that game. I went to that game and I was planning before I left the stadium on when I could come back. I brought my youngest son back two weeks later for the LM playoff game. It was so neat to watch and think, "Wow! I went to school here? This is awesome!" Very addictive! Those young men did something no one else was able to do in 42 years and it has more to do than just winning some football games, it has to do with bringing your community together and what a job they did!!

I really hope everyone goes back to Lumberton High School tonight to support our Raiders! We may have lost on the scoreboard tonight but one thing about those boys they have brought a community together unlike anything I have ever seen before. I hope the parking lot is full for them tonight!

Thanks Coog88! We are proud of our boys even those of us from a distance. By the way, I drove down for the Lumberton/LM game and Thanksgiving last week and LaMarque played well. The game could have gone either way, obviously ya'll had a great season too!

Can you believe this Bullets? My best friend said it was my fault because I was away from the computer until 20 minutes ago. First time this year I have not kept up with the whole game through SETXSPORTS.com! They needed me cheering!!!!!!! Hope you are okay Bullets! I hope everyone goes back to the high school to at least hug them and tell them how proud the community is of them.

TD Waller 42-7 WOW!!!!!!!!!! Lumberton you had a great run for your first time in the playoffs. You boys have made us proud! I am proud to be a graduate of LHS and we are thankful for what you did for our community. I lived there for 19 years and never saw what I was lucky enough to see what I saw the two times I came down to see what ya'll were doing! Keep your heads up!!!!!!

I think both teams better throw each other out of your minds for this week or you will both get a surprise from you opponents tomorrow! Take care of one week at a time. I am from Lumberton but, I know that Dayton will still be ticked off at Lumberton and will want to prove something to Lumberton. Now no one wants Lumberton to win more than I do and yes I have faith in the Raiders but don't get the big head and think that because you beat them once you can beat them again! Play them like you would any other team. Dayton has come a LONG way as have the Raiders and Dayton will want to prove it to Lumberton. Lets both teams take care of this week and then let the battle begin next week! GO RAIDERS!!!!!!!! Good luck this week Broncos!

Congratulations!!!!!!!!! I think you should win it for the year though!!!!!!!!! You boys are GREAT!!! I sure enjoyed coming down and hollering for ya'll against Nederland and LaMarque. I wish you the best and know you will get a great scholarship somewhere! Ya'll are making all of us Lumberton alumni from a while ago VERY PROUD!!!!!!!!!!!!!! In our eyes you have already won state! I must say I did not bring the Raiders back home, but I did go up to the school before the team left, and you send them off good too!!!!!!!! What a treat! My 7 year old was so excited for the game after we left he wanted to go right to the game!

I sooooo want to be at the game Friday!!!!!!!!!!!! I will have to cheer from Tennessee from here on out unless you Lumberton people want to fly me down for luck!!!!!!!!!! Hey guys! TNTITAN made it down! From where I stayed Tuesday it should have taken me 7 hours to get here, instead with the bridge being out in LA it took me 12 hours!!!! BUT, I made it and if I can do that and drive in 60 mile an hour winds in thunderstorms I KNOW you boys can BEAT LM! GO RAIDERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SEE EVERYONE TOMORROW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
