I just got home! Sounds like Lumberton is doing good! I am driving 800 miles to see the Nederland/Lumberton game!!!! Can't wait!!!! GO RAIDERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Maverick 24- I am from Lumberton, but Lumberton hardly "spanked" Dayton, they gave them a tap on the arm. Don't get things stirred up! Posts like what you said are the reason people hate us! When we beat them by 3 or more touchdowns, we can brag that we spanked them but one point is not a spanking!! Good luck RAIDERS!!!

Don't know if I am dedicated or possibly INSANE!!! My husband says it is insane for me to do that so I guess you can take your pick Raiderpride! I say it's dedication!

If Lumberton wins the next two games, I am driving OVER 800 miles (from Tennessee) and they better BEAT Nederland and make it into the playoffs. My question is, if they win the next two weeks but lose to Nederland, will they make it? Or if they win the next three (Ned.) included, will they be into the playoffs? I am coming to see the celebration first hand. Eighteen years after being out of school, I want to see it!!!!!!!! GO RAIDERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

About the playoff picture all I know is that if Lumberton wins their next two games I am coming down for the final game against Nederland and if I drive 800 miles they better win and get in the playoffs!!!!!!!!! I am easily confused on playoff spots though, IF Lumberton wins their next two games and if they lose to Nederland, do they not still make it to the playoffs? And if they do win the next two and beat Nederland do they make the playoffs? Thanks for the info!!

Vidor usually pulls at least one upset a year. I am going to go against the grain on here and say VIDOR by 3! It is Homecoming and they will be mad about their close call last week and want it!!! I think wins could be going to PNG's head and hopefully they could be overlooking the Pirates! Go VIDOR get the upset surprise of the week and CELEBRATE Homecoming night boys!!!!!!!!!!

Right on LadyRaider123! I said in an earlier post that we aren't all like that! Each team has its good fans and "bad" fans! Some are just giving us all a bad name. I personally can't blame some of them for not liking us because a few bad apples can ruin it for the bunch. I just think that in the end, we need to all be supportive of each other (which I think you are doing too!). Let's support each other except for on the night we play your team, but even then, give credit where credit is due and be nice and say good game but not things like Pirate was told (you suck is what he was told). That is uncalled for. Good luck to you LadyRaider!

Bullet44- We aren't ALL like that. I was there when we would be happy just to get the zero off the board!!!! We would have felt like we won even if lost by 6 TD's but had seven or even better "double digits" on the board! Lumberton has really grown since I moved away and I think a lot of them now don't have a clue where they have come from and have the big head about the year this year. I can see where a lot of you are coming from. I just do this for fun, but believe me, I know where we came from and whoever told Vidor Pirate yea for us and you suck shame on you! You look the other person in the eye and say, "Thanks, better luck the rest of the season" and then people will like you and will support you!! We really can't complain that others don't like us when have the better than you attitude now can we???????????

Pirate- We have just NEVER been able to talk before!!!!!!!! Sure at our pep rallys our football team talked but they got killed on the field when I was there. Now, we are actually winning, and I am shocked to see how good they sound on here and on the live stream tonight. I am just cheering for them 1000 miles away. I am coming down for a game if they make it to the playoffs so hopefully I will be coming home soon!!!!

Good luck with your rehab Pirate! Just joking on the lala land next week. I just read that in two different posts and had to have a comeback. My mom grew up in Vidor, and I grew up in Lumberton, but actually went to Vidor football games most of the time! So I really do like the Pirates! Yall's Homecomings are the best! I really miss going to Vidor Homecoming games. Tennessee is too far to drive for one night HA! What grade are you in? I hope you will be able to go back! Good luck next week!

Goodsport- Like I told Vidor Pirate, he will be in lala land next week when the Indians come to town! I have always been a Pirate fan but I am not a fan of his! They are not all like that!!!!!

Good post LHSALLZONE. Notice how all of the people downing Lumberton on the other boards are not from PNG. That says a lot for them. I have always liked PNG, they deserve a good season too. They back what they say and the fans back their team but they aren't jerks about it. They just get out there and do what needs to be done, but they are caring too. Good luck both Raiders and Indians the rest of the season!
