1. This is insane... Ill start by saying great job pitching by both starters tonight as well as Brooks coming in at the bottom of the seventh and doing a great job. Early in the game Buna did a great job of taking advantage of some H-F errors and making things happen on the base paths. Once Jannise settled in he looked great as usual he does a great job of keeping the ball down and he mixes up his pitches good as well. Wish the Horns would get things going a little earlier in games but hey good teams find a way to win and thats exactly what they did. And since everyone seems to be talking about that freshman pitcher from Buna that kid is going to be really really good he has a great delivery and hides the ball really well. He happened to put one up and over the outside half of the plate and Hicks did exactly what your supposed to do with that ball and thats send it the opposite way. Great job Blake on clutching up in that situation and providing everyone with a thrilling finish. Good luck to Buna along the way I apoligize for some of the comments made by some of our fans after the game.
2. Oh it was worse I promise you that and how many times have you seen a cheerleading squad get in the middle of the court and sing it to the opposing fans? 0 is the number your going to say
3. Couldnt hear what they were saying exactly even their cheer coach was getting in on the action.
4. Great Season Horns talk about a roller coaster ride but what a fantastic season through all the adversity and hardship. Congrats to Navasota that is a super young and talented team that is going to keep making noise for the next few years they just could not miss last night one of the best shooting teams I have seen this year from outside and from mid range didnt hardly miss any shots it was crazy. I do have to say what Navasota's cheerleaders did at the end of the game was one of the most pathetic things I have ever seen in High School sports. To spread out in the middle of the court and taunt and ridicule the crowd like that still just blows my mind. I feel horrible for the parents and grandparents that had to watch that crap. I really hope the Navasota administration does something about that. After all that I just have to say I will def be there in person to watch H-J blow Navasota out of the water after that low class rant at the end of the game  ;D
5. Congrats on the no hitter! It was still against a Varsity squad dont try to steal the kids thunder
6. Anyone have any insight on Navasota? Are they a smaller quick team like Silsbee or are they a bigger more physical team?
7. Sure wish they would have mentioned Malveaux in the senior stories kid has been a game changer this year. Still a great article this area will be represented well this year
8. I figured it would be around the Humble area as soon as you hear something let us know
9. Great performance all around for the Horns. That is how you put the nail in the coffin they got the lead in the third and never looked back. Malveaux was a beast last night as usual and Darius did a great job directing the troops and also making some big shots. Anyone have a idea where the next game is going to be played? I didnt stick around long enough last night to find out.
10. For the first time in my life I will be pulling for OF to win  :-\ This hurts
11. I will say that was a horrendous display of officiating and that tech was def not called for but hey thats basketball when it really comes down to it Dayton just had to much depth and too much inside presence for the lady pirates. That 20 point difference could easily be all 2nd and 3rd shot opportunities off of poor rebounding by Vidor. Now, I want to give congrats to the Lady Pirates on a fantastic season and fighting hard all season including last night. That is a fantastic group of girls and i'd like to wish the best of luck to Jaq and Kacy as they start a new chapter of their lives after graduating this year.
12.
^ 3 or 4? You talking back when Delome and Tucker played? Crazy as it sounds that was 9 years ago now.
No im talking about when Eaves and company played for H-F and Buna had Clark that other really good pitcher
13. I remember about 3 or 4 years back a "loaded" number 1 ranked Buna came down to Hamshire and got ran off the field so we will see how far this smack talk gets ya bud  8)
14. It is pretty funny that they didnt need him good for them
15. Hey now one person one mistake we were just poking fun and it was pretty dang funny
16. hahahaha thank you so much ECBucFan that is the funniest thing I have ever seen on here
17. Guys clearly Ozen was just "hunting" Central it wasnt as close as it looks.  ;)
18. Awesome win for the Horns! To come back from 20 points is something very rare and something to be really proud of. The Horns finally started taking care of the ball and taking advantage of West Orange turnovers about midway through the 3rd quarter and crawled their way back into it. Something people might disagree with but last night proved it in my eyes, a dunk can change a game and when Malveaux put down that huge 2 handed dunk im pretty sure that sealed it up for HF the momentum was all in the Horns favor after that and had everyone in the gym fired up. Once again congrats Horns and awesome job Coach Neal keep up the good work.
19.
Wow HF... "Exploited Ozen"...that's  a pretty tough word after beating a team by 36. They called off the full court press half way through the 4th quarter, and they started stalling the ball about 2-3 min left in the game. Could have been muuuch worse HF. Exploited.....Hahaha...hahaha.... that's too funny!!!
This post coming from the person that said in the first quarter Ozen was "hunting" Vidor actually in the first quarter Ozen couldnt hit the broad side of a barn and Vidor hit some shots and was in the game. That was the first half in the second Ozen burned them with their depth thats all their is too it.
20. I have to disagree Hillguy. Letting them shoot at will would be a mistake Jacks and Richmond can get hot at anytime and that is bad news for any team. Ozen DID NOT let them shoot threes and thats one thing that helped them blow that game out. Congrats to Ozen on the big win and its pretty awesome to see how far Vidor has come they are 20-5 this season which is impressive by any standards.
21. Hunting them? Nah they just couldnt hit anything to start the game sir. On the other hand they were wayyyy to deep for Vidor and when Richmond fouled out it was a done deal. Congrats to Vidor for exploiting Ozen a little bit that first half just need some bench.
