With that last statement I do agree with ya solo. Just a lot of frustration with the whole situation. My main hurt is with the Lady Horns whose hopes were up for really nothing. I apologize for anything I said that might have offended anyone.

You are darn sure right they shouldn't have. I would absolutely love to see OF's reaction in H-F's shoes right now. Frankly something shady happened for all this to come about am I wrong?

I'd like to sincerely apologize to all our forum Kittykats for defending and trying to fight for what's right for a group of girls who were just told yesterday they still had a chance at the playoff's. Clerical error or not it was still something that caught the attention of UIL. I could only imagine the hurt the girls felt today when they found out there shot was taken away from them. I could only imagine the uproar there would be if it were of in Hamshire's shoes.  ::)

Bridge City used a inelgible player who made a difference in the game and affected a district race yeah i'd say there should be a playoff If of could have beaten H-F the second game then this wouldnt even have been a issue would it bobcat if were going to talk about issues.

Former H-F standout Taylor Eaves will be playing in the Astro's in action D-2 invitational this weekend at Minute Maid park he will be playing Saturday at 4 and Sunday night at 7 come on out and support a former SETX ballplayer. He was a stud last year for Monticello and was a all conference 2nd baseman and also had a breakout summer ball season and has some serious momentum going into his senior year.

Start off by saying good job Buna. Number 13 has to be in the talks for district mvp girl can flat out shoot it. Now as for my Lady Horns it was pretty painful to watch last night and here's why. First thing why on earth did it take for Buna to get up by 22 points before you got in a man defense?? They were picking apart the zone especially early in the 3rd and you just sit there in that 2-3 zone and let Buna's shooters go to work. It's a simple adjustment and should have been done when they got up by 10 not when the game was pretty much out of reach. Second thing is at the varsity level there is no way that you should blow wide open layups, we missed atleast 5 or 6 last night and thats just inexcusable. Last thing, you can not come out flat especially in a game with so much on the line and expect a good team like that to just hand you the game it's not going to happen. On a positive note the lady horns still have a shot at the playoffs, just need to take care of business and know the task at hand. The players are there we have a great mix of size and good guards just have to take advantage of that. One more thing, to the lady on buna's side screaming and chastising the best referee on the court last night win you were already up by 20+ and the foul count was 10-4 in your favor  ::) Get a freaking clue.

So if the Lady Horns win tonight will that just about gurantee them a playoff sport? Pending a win against Silsbee and Bridge City of course.

Ya'll just really dont have a clue do yall? Just goes to show respect and class really dont mean anything anymore. Congrats on beating a poor team by 95 points, sure did accomplish a lot congratulations. It's not a matter of skill it's called having class and calling off the dogs after you up by a bunch let alone 95 smh. I have played, coached and reffed this game so don't call what i'm saying nonsense I have seen it all and this was a low point here, and people getting on here and defending the action. smh.... If H-F or Vidor would have done this to someone I would be on here getting on them the same way. I would say I hope PNG spanks them in Baseball and softball but I wouldnt sink down to that crap.

I would never tell or "imply" for a team to miss shots on purpose lets get real here. Im not mad that PNG only scored 9 points its their fault they couldnt hit some shots and just like my last statement I would never "imply" for a team to let the other one shoot or score dont misconstrue what i'm saying I said nothing even close to that. It's very easy to slow the ball down and work on a half court offense. Let me go ahead and clarify before you jumble that one up, im not saying stall the ball like your protecting a close lead so save that one. The coach can do whatever she wants that's fine but me and you both know there is some courtesy and some class involved in this game and 104-9 is over the top.

Hey Hawk at what point did I say Ozen should stop shooting? When did I say for Ozen to hold the ball in this game? At what point did I say that they should run a different defense to let PNG shoot? Okay thanks. I know Coach Downs isnt a first year coach she was the head girls coach when I was at Hamshire. This is her first year as a head coach for PNG. If you are running a 1-3-1 and starting at half court they are going to push the girl into a trap which in turn my good sir is a half court press. I know that Ozen is a good team, I know they have some major talent thats great good for them but 104-9 is crazy. As a coach do you really not mind a team running up a score like that?

There is nothing, I repeat N O T H I N G that would excuse a 104 - 9 beatdown of a 1st year coach and a group of already beat up young ladies.  I dont care if Ozen's jv is better, if someone not very familiar with the game was upset ya'll held the ball against Vidor (Part of the game and a smart move, I had no problem), Wanted to get a better state ranking, wanted to intimidate some other teams it really doesn't matter. As a coach you do not embaress another team like that, im not sure a lot of you are getting the drift here. They just beat a team by 95 points, not 50 not 65 not 80. 95 FREAKING POINTS. It's as simple as slowing the ball down for god sakes.

There is also not a column for defeating a hugely inferior team by 95 points smh. No way im going to congratulate a team for doing that. It's easy to put second stringers in to get some playing time and turn this press off late in the game. It's called class

Getting beat by 95 and 50 is quite different sir or mam. Yes I work,  I own a business and were here working hard everyday. This is a sports forum not a political forum and my opinions on what's going on tax wise and with the way our country is being ran would definetly be frowned upon on a public forum  ;D. When I was playing at Hamshire as a senior we got beat by Silsbee 106-29 and I have never forgotten it and im still embaressed by it. So no, stuff like that sticks with ya, I promise.

Did you not read my last post? There is nothing wrong with doing your regular press and offenses, scoring in transition so on and so forth but at some point especially when your up 70+ opposed to single digits it's time to have a little mercy on a struggling team. I know Coach Downs and I really like her but like I said earlier I have no dog in this fight but in my opinion 104-9 is over the top and completely unneccesary. If your Bobcats got absolutely strummed like that you would be on here throwing a fit and if you say otherwise you are liar.

Yeah that would be pathetic and uncalled for. Dont understand your point there considering I dont have a dog in the fight. You have to have the gas pedal floored from start to finish if your going to beat a team 104-9. Work on your press and do whatever you feel needs to be done but at some point its time to turn off the press and get some other girls in to get some work in, but you dont embaress a coach and a group of girls like that.

Whether png players came to play or not there is no excuse that anyone could say to justify beating a team, especially one who is going through a rough patch, 104 to 9. That is pathetic and uncalled for.

Please explain what's wrong with the coaching ladyraider I'd love to hear opinion on that. I believe the lady pirate players already proved your past statements wrong. Both players you said wouldn't score 20 scored 20 and 25. Vidor clearly had the better ball handlers unlike what you said previously. L-town was clearly disturbed by Vidors press notice the 30 points they scored in the first quarter alone. Tori if I recall right didn't have a single turnover Plus she played excellent defense. So please entertain me with what's wrong with Vidors coaching and what possibly could make this game even remotely respectable next go round.
