Not really impressed with the win but I’ll take lol, I know it’s hard to run a spread offense in a downpour but Crosby just didn’t look like they were motivated to play at all. Going forward teams will figure out that Crosby’s online can’t pass block. We are a running team period, these receivers can’t get open and Howard is actually looking to get the ball to these guys. Howard looked average tonight. With that being said it feels great to be 3-0 after playing 3 of the top defenses in the area.

Manvel is still manvel trust me when I say they are loaded, turnovers were the difference in this game and the threat of having to play a spread team with a true qb, safeties played deep most of the night, just look at the championship game from last year their defense got exposed.

Every year tho Crosby has been known to drop at least one district game.

Interested in seeing what the coaching staff is going to do with #2 when #5 comes back from injury this week. The kid had an excellent spring and 7 on 7. But 2 is holding his own at corner. Also Howard is running a lil bit too much they have to figure out how to get the ball to the wr more.

Manvel hasn’t lost anything they are still manvel don’t get it twisted their whole defense will play at the next level. We definitely lost the battle in the trenches. Howard had about 1 second to throw the ball last night because those dogs were coming hard and fast.

Manvel is very good but they just wasn’t in good shape!!! We condition year round so we stay ready.

Howard is actually a qb that prefers passing over running. That should be a good thing for these wide outs but the only one who attempts to get open when he has to scramble is 13. The rest just don’t have the juice to get open in man coverage. 10 will eat u alive if they play zone tho he’s always open. The offense has to be balanced to beat hoka hey.

Good overall team win, New Caneys defense is damn good, Crosby will only get better from here. Oh and Chayse Todd is an animal.

Solid on defense, offense not so good

Crosby kept it very vanilla, didn’t show much in both scrimmages, the experiment with 23 should be over, 24 and 33 should be the featured backs, and 8 and 19 should be on the sidelines keeping the Gatorade cool. 4 and 11 but should be starting on offense with 84 getting major minutes. It’s go time, Jeff needs to take the gloves off.

Someone said, there is only one transfer on Crosby’s team y’all need to stop with the accusations.

I didn’t say he couldn’t throw, hell im fifty I could have made them passes against that defense, I’m talking about reading the defense, and pocket passing. Those kids were running wide open. Howard made 6 nice td passes doing just that. Shug definitely didn’t disappoint me. I’d take him any day.

Sorry to disappoint you guys but I had a chance to see shug thro the ball in 7 vs 7 and the kid is just not a good passer, he is not a threat when u take his legs away. Very good athlete and competitor but not a true qb. And I’m not hating at all just my opinion.
