What a gutsy call for the gators to go for 2 and the the lead with 2 minutes left.  If they don't make it WB probably wins.  Good game to watch.  As a gator fan i have a question for WB, what is the range of your FG kicker?  If he is the punter it looked like he has a great leg.  I was sweating that at the end of the game.  Anyways, great game gentlemen and congrats on a great season.  There were not many teams still playing today so heads up and enjoy the success you had this year.  Well done.

Well the dickinson lady gators rolled  to the state playoffs in austin next week, congrats to them and good luck.  With FW volleyball going to state, Dickinson basketball making it, FW girls soccer the clear favorite in the region, and I believe  texas city softball ranked 1 in the region, the girls of galveston county are not doing to bad for themselves.  you go girls  ;D

jr,  you need to check your stat sheet again.  I believe that Dickinson is the highest scoring team in the region in any class.  They have one common opponent and that is Crosby.  Ozen won by 9, dickinson beat them by 60.    But that is why they play the games, this is the playoffs and on any given night any thing can happen.

Looking ahead at the playoff bracket, you probably do not want to finish second in this district.  That would mean a second round playoff date with Dickinson.  They are very good this year.  You have a much better chance of making a deep playoff run if you are the first place team.  This game should be a good one with a lot to play for.

Agree with the fw fan on foster.  Saw most of  three games they played in blue bell country.  The game with friendswood was a rough one and the foster coach high fives everyone who got a card. Seemed a little low rent to me.

Yea, the coach has done a good job with those ladies and they give 100% on the floor. They are a great group of kids. There are two sisters that moved in from baytown and the young lady from Lamarque. They are fun to watch.  When they hit their threes they are very hard to stop.  AH is a very good player for FW. Good luck to the mustangs the rest of the year.

friendswood fan has no idea about dickinson girls basketball.  there are three girls starting varsity who were not on the girls basketball team  last year.  FW would have no chance no matter who was playing for them.  In fact you should be glad they choose not to play volleyball
