What from what I heard, LAST year they had four juniors on J.V. who transfered from P.A. Memorial. If so, then they will be eligible for Varsity this year... Now if they are any good is unknown to me. Hope that helped. Sorry for the lack of info.

They were horrible last year and they may not be much better this year. But they got a new coach; one of the players that was on the team from Evadale that won state. Hopefully he can turn things around...

well if you think about i might be from west hardin and i do beleive the final score was 15-7 and i dont remember nine turnovers

I don't doubt that WH had something to do with all of those turnovers (the film shows 9; 3 of which were open-field fumbles). But how can you brag about beating somone by 1 touchdown when they had 9 turnovers?

Evadales line is weak this year last year they was strong. I don't know what happened to them. Their backfield looks strong though.

ARE YOU INSANE?!? (P.S. You are not required to answer that!) You obviously have never been to an Evadale game in the last two years. The Offensive Line is at least twice as good this year as it was last year simply because, this year, the O-Line tries their hardest.

F.Y.I. Kountze and Deweyville are both 2a and Price Carlisle was within the top 20 when Evadale played them (not sure what they are ranked now). Man, that's not a bad record, especially when Kountze has 403 kids in high school and Deweyville has 231; both have at least 100 more kids in high school than Evadale who has 126... You know, if you're going to talk smack, know your facts!

The # 42 you gotta be kidding me. I want you to line up one on one with trea smith and see who wins. i got all my money on him winning that battle. How you gonna trea smith who him. He will beat you in any sport you challenge him in. True # 42 you did have a lot of yards against chester but you got to give credit to your line. It's not like you did anything. I think evadale is going to retire your jersey after you graduate. # 42 do you think your under disguise. . They can't be that desperate. Step your game up and do something against us then say something.

Kountze also had 9 turnovers. If i didn't know any better, I'd say that would have something to do with losing by 1 point. Dang, 9 turnovers! WH should have killed them...

#84 your a great player, but THIS AIN'T MADDEN!

This ain't a cartoon either, BOB. Obviously you don't know #84. You'll never meet a nicer guy. I'm not sure why all of you decided to bash #84, but he's not just talk like some people on here are. He is a true leader. He'll lift you up after you make a mistake and take all the blame for a busted play if he can. He's a guy with class; that's the only reason why he has yet to respond to some of the comments left on here about him. You guys can talk all the trash you want, but it doesn't mean squat until you back it up between the lines. If you got something to say, say it on the grid iron or keep it to yourself!

P.S. Evadale wins, but it'll be close. Good luck to both teams.

I promise you, Evadale has nobody who can stop Tre Smith one on one. They can gameplan to stop him, but it may take the whole secondary. Unfortunately for the Rebels, the Bobcats run 4 and 5 WR's and they all run 4.5 40's and under. I dont' know if Evadale has any kids that fast, much less 5 or 6 of em like the Bobcats have. I know it's not all about speed, but it helps. Heck, Buna double-teamed Tre and look at the team they have. We really dont' have anything to compare HD to Evadale this year oppenent wise except Beaumont Legacy. Evadale beat Legacy 27-20 after going into the 4th quarter tied 20-20. The same Beaumont Legacy team that HD lead 58-6 going into the 4th quarter.

I was a little too sarsastic in my previous post, I'm just tired of everyone doggin on HD this year saying we're "down" this year. We have a complete new coaching staff, completely new. We're running a system that is light years away from what Barbay did last year. This preseason was all about figuring out who fits better at what position and what works and what doesn't. I dont' think a 1A team who's two losses are to two 2A schools with a combined 9-1 recored (Buna and Kountze) is enough to classify having a down year. HD will finish 8-2 or 7-3 just like we always do......lol.

If they have such AWESOME atheletes, then why do they have a loosing record???

I've gotta pull for Evadale on this one, but no matter who wins, it's GONNA be a good game!

Shouldn't Kelly's JV ahead of West Hardin? They did beat WH after all.

I am going to appeal to what little common sense some of you nay-sayers might possess. Why would a successful private school program risk ANY of it's varsity players on a JV game just so they could "brag" about beating a 1A? If anyone has any logical solutions, please tell me because I simply cannnot understand why the obviously successful Kelly coaches would make such a move. Just wondering...  ;D

I know for certain that Chester won and, unless I'm mistaken, the final score was 25-14 Chester.

If my sources are correct (and they usually are) Price Carlisle is ranked in the top 30 in 1a. The Rebels played them closer than what the score suggests but Carlisle still came out on top. Both teams will be tough in their districts.
