Rice downs Marshall 7-1 to finish road sweep CHARLESTON, W.Va. — Kempner product Chris Kelly held Marshall to one run over 7⅓ innings Sunday as Rice completed a three-game sweep of the Thundering Herd with a 7-1 victory. Stratford product and freshman Matt Evers worked the final 1⅔ scoreless innings for the 11th-ranked Owls.
