No way, Dodge is settin up to retire in the hill country he's not comin back this way!
Just wonder what WOS could have been in the early years had Dodge not transfered.
I have often wondered that as well. Could be a lot of people didn't realize he would have have to WO-S instead of TJ if his dad hadn't been transferred.
Wouldn't have worked out. WO-S  was committed to the run. TJ's offense was light years ahead of most high school teams.
 2. I am just catching up on who made this team. Hayden Reed a second teamer???? I know there will always be some controversy and this list will never be perfect but I am shocked. Congrats to all who made it. I am sure they are all deserving.
 3.
I think you would have had to tackle our third string indian spirit this year..the first two started cramping up from getting to dance to cherokee all night.. Lol want to talk about funny? Thats funny
There ya go Scalpem, that is funny right there. Hey we have two bear mascots. I say we get them to meet in the parking lot after the game and let em get it on.  Our mascot is tougher than yours. I take the bears over Indian spirit with a tko in round 3. ;D
 4.

WHAT BC DIDN'T TAKE A KNEE???? So it's not true as one Bear fan stated that PNG is the only HS that doesn't do this??? Once again FACTS!
I'm not sure of what their practices are but continuing to prepare for the game is smart. If a kid is seriously injured then I think most people would be silent and take a knee. WOS had a tragic experience last year that was worthy of a knee being taken. Not only that, but prayers also. We couldn't have asked for more respect and support than we got.
Well TD I was at game. Kid wasn't moving much. When is it worthy to take a knee? Wouldn't it be easier to just do it to keep everyone from whining about it?  Good game Indians and goog luck going forward.
 5.
How about when the lcm mascot tackled the indian spirit several years back that was really classy as well.  ;)
Not classy at all but so funny. Sometimes its just worth it. We should have tackled him last night. We  were not having much luck tackling Bertrand.
 6. Faicloth wants to be different. Let him be. He is not concerned what opposing fans think. I never quite understood taking a knee but would just because everyone else does. If you think that is a sign of resepect thats good enough for me. PN-G did take a knee at end of game to run out the clock and I agree if you don't want the second teamers to score then stop them. They sit around waiting for their turn let them have it.  Next week Mathews will show you its possible to take a knee, coach them up and still win.
 7. Hats off to the Titans for a well played game. Just wanted to say thanks to the Titans and Jamal Charles (Hook 'Em). It was nice of Jamal to hang out after game for pics, autographs and for taking time to talk to our kids after the game. Was quite cool!

Heard was a man tonight  with 200+ rushing yards.  We lined up in singlback and had our way up front.  Much props to our 'big nasties' (O-Linemen) for blocking for Heard.  Our 'Young Gun' QB has matured andhave gotten so good befor my eyes, it was a thing of beauty how he hits our receivers in stride.  Glad we get him for a couple more years.  Playcalling was excellent.  Fan support was great.  Our Defense played great in the first half.  Second half, LC-M made great adjustments to find the holes in our Zone defense. That Gonzalez kid is awesome.  Performed like the 3 year starter that he is.  Got rattled on a hit from earlier and didn't let that slow him down.  He just kept finding #9.  (i was telling some of our fans that I think #9 catch football in his sleep).  Point blank, this is the best receiver in our district.  Refs?  As one fan put it, it was horrible, on both sides.  I'm glad that both teams kept playing as this turned out to be a great game as advertised.  Good luck to these Bears.  You will represent this district great in these playoffs.   Game balls... Central - D. Heard Honorable mention - R. Mitchell LC-M - Z. Sonnier (sp) Honorable mention - H. Gonzalez Special shout out to the Jaguar defense.  You were on the field for most of the night due to our offense scoring quick.  You held your own in the first half and even withtood the second half surge by the Bear offense and stepped up late in the game...  When it counted.
Agreed, Soulja. Like your team, always a classy winner. Could you teach Big Ford a thing or two?
Thanks.  What did he do?
Nothing, its cool. He was on some rant about respect. For some reason he thinks we are wanting his.
You should worry about loosing another District game to the Raiders....hater!!!
I see how it is, if you don't support the Bears, you're a "hater". Uh....I have the freedom, just as you do, to support any team in our district, correct?  As far as the Indians, I will always support them, whether they are winning  or losing.  However, if you came to our post and supported Lumberton, I would NOT call you a "hater".  Sorry, very immature of you.
Hes not a hater, he's a "hoper". Hoping Jags can run the table so the Indians can have a chance for a playoff spot.

Did you think it would be close?
FYI it was pretty close. Did you not think it would be? Bet you thought Indians were gonna run the table again too huh? From what I saw last night, your last game of the season might be a route. Keep hoping for that back door to the playoffs. It could happen. ;D
 12.
where are the rest of the scores? how about bc and lc ?
Bears won 25 or 26-13

Both are very good.
Margaritas on the loop is good but warning, DO NOT have more than one of their margaritas or you will need to get a room and spend the night.
 14.
thats 2 game lcm could have possibly won. but gonzale seems to throw pick in the redzone quite often [/quote Oh really? So what are you trying to say? Do you honestly think they would even be in these games without him?
 15.

Now for the Vidor fans sitting on the LCM side ..... not so classy.  Students will stand and they will cheer. If they are in your way I suggest you move.  The district needs to take care of this.  This is a disaster waiting to happen.
I can beat that. I'm a Vidor fan and one of our fans even told me to move because she couldn't see. People like that make me just roll my eyes. Do they really expect us to just sit there? It's a football game ... not a court case. And yes, we really do need more seating. But everytime we try to improve anything in athletics, we seem to get all the cockroaches crawling out of the woodwork to form an opposition. Our last bond we tried to get a gym built for Oak Forest Elememtary and the opposition griped louder than everyone else and even shot that down in the vote. What do they care? Their kids don't go to Vidor schools. But I better not get started on that. I'll just say that I agree with you on the seating.
I hear ya Rusted.  We have the same issues over here with the failed bond election.
 16. Very impressive running game for the Pirates. Also appeared to be a very classy team... very workman like, taking care of business attitude. Happy for you and hope you make a run this year. Now for the Vidor fans sitting on the LCM side ..... not so classy.  Students will stand and they will cheer. If they are in your way I suggest you move.  The district needs to take care of this.  This is a disaster waiting to happen.
 17. Not sure about the rest but I believe LC is out and Orangefield is in. Orangefield beat Kountze and LC lost to Nederaland Gold which makes them tied in conference. Orangefield beat LC head up so I would assume they go as the second place team.
 18. and LC-M vs PN-G Grey Bears 33 PNG Grey 8.
 19. Yep! That and the fact that the defense didn't stop the little quick out pass all night, or that your coach is in love with the pass while the running game is gobbling up yardage all night long. I think you summed it up great! Please give no credit to LCM with there little old 30 undersized players on the sidelines. I will say this once more. If not for the poor officiating (as you call it) you may have lost the game. The biggest game changing call was the completed pass (ruled incomplete) that was fumbled out of bounds that stopped what was at the time a nice go ahead drive. (I am not complaining about the call, just trying to get some to understand the calls weren't one sided).
 20. Please, please, please quit complaining about the refs. I could list numerous calls that hurt the Bears as well , none bigger than the the catch that was fumbled out of bounds. I would be more concerned with why the Indians didn't keep running the ball. Lets see....I'm averaging about 20 yards per run, hmmm........ lets pass.lol. Your play calling kept the Bears in the game. What a game by the running back, he could have had a lot more yards but Indians kept passing. Anyway, great way to spend a Friday night and by the way, super facility!
 21. Why would YOU be celebrating your 10 year class reunion and everybody else in your class celebrating THEIR 30th? ??? ;D Easy on him guys. He just got his GED 10 yrs ago. Why he waited so long who knows. ;D
 22. You don't have to take that BBDAD. Besides, we all know my son is the champion marble shooter in these parts.
