I'm not defending the kid's actions but after speaking to a few of the Nederland player's, the adrenaline had to be at an all time high in a rivalry game. The Nederland player said he told him "to sit his arse down"! And it was in a very animated way as he was fired up. As for as the dad going on the field. He never made it past the Indian dugout. So to say he was on the umpire is definately wrong. Coaches and player's talked him off the field. We don't know if he was going to get his son off the field or what. So many assumptions! I'm sure the dad was all over his son afterward's. We've seen Nederland player's go to jail and get tickets and still play so don't act like this dont happen in Nederland either. I guarantee you several of kid's from both team's were at the beach drinking but didnt get caught. As parent's we dont know everything our kid's do outside of our presense. Their is a kid in the pro's and at a bigtime school right now that did way more than get an MIP. Kid's do a lot of stupid thing's that we cant always control. I'm sure there will be some kind of discipline for both father and son though. I had a problem with Leckich pitching Tuesday and then pitching last night. The coach took him out after 4 innings and he was dominating so he had to be concerned about the amount of pitches in 2 days. Then when Henry gets tossed he brings him back in. And it was also a cold night. I guess the win is more important than the kid's future at Baylor. His parents were highly upset in the stands when they put him in. My other question was why was PNG bunting with one out with runners on 1st and 2nd with their best hitter up? That really made no sense. I'm the coach could hear the fan's. Discipline has definately changed since Stone left! I assure you the next coach will be a highly disciplined man. No doubt in my mind who it will be! And he was a highly animated guy when he pitched. Another rumor was a bunch of scouts left when Henry got tossed. The scouts were not there last night so not sure who started that rumor. The scouts know when Henry is pitching so they were not there. There in contact with his dad daily! Personally I wanna beat a team when they have their best players on the field so Im not sure why there was so much talk about him playing. I can name a few Nederland guys that played when they maybe shouldn't have.

    Perfect

I heard it. So don't say no one did. And I'm not the only one. I'm sure U of H coaches are impressed.

Oh ok. I don't have a dog in the fight either. You couldn't have been any closer than I was and no one heard it around me. No one in the dugout heard it. The kid can't control his dad's actions. They have both have had to deal with a ton of issues this week. No excuse for an emotional reaction but a warning would have been proper call. 99% of the stands didn't get why he was tossed so don't try and paint a villain out of the kid.

The kid curses a batter after he strikes him out, using the F-bomb, in front of the umpire, and you say he doesn't deserve to be ejected. Wow,,,,,,you're an idiot. You probably think it's alright that his dad runs out on the field and argues with the umpire also. Looks like some discipline issues at the ole teepee.

No one heard this. It's not like he shouted it out. If they threw out every football player for using language during a game there wouldn't be a kid left on the field. A warning is the norm. I'm sure all the angels in Nederland have never done such a thing. No disrespect for their kids either. They are a great group of boys.

Very Good Baseball game. could have went either way.

The kid that got ejected let him mouth get him in trouble at the beach this past weekend. and it got him in trouble to night again. I think he should have got ejected. And then his dad must still wipe his butt for him coming on the field after he got ejected to try and save the day. let your kid grow up by himself.

Im sure your U of H coaches are proud of you bud! keep up the good work.

    So says a Nederland dad......pffff!

Henry was not suppose to play in this game but got in and got ejected for cussing at a Nederland player after he struck him out. Does not make a good impression on the scouts or UH coaches.

Were you there?  Lots of trash talking from the Nederland dugout. High intensity game with emotions on edge for both sides. You absolutely Do Not eject the kid for his actions. It was nothing that doesn't happen every game.

The "defensive line coach" has over 400 wins as a head baseball coach. 2 Louisiana State Championships and another State appearance with Sweeny.

Probably a hell of a coach back in the day. Go watch a practice I've heard it's quite automated.

Never a time to cuss players. There would be coaches lined up to coach baseball at PNG High School. Hope they get things going quickly.

Well it's crazy that BC ends up with Sam Moore and Memorial gets Jessie Rojas and PNG ends up with a defensive line coach who coaches baseball. The aforementioned coaches are players coaches. PNG gets a Faircloth puppet.

BUT if Brevell was there the kids would be MFed and berated on a regular basis!!

Stone I agree with we loved him here and hated to see him go to PNG

When I saw the youtube it was like WTF really this coconut is waaaaay out of line.  He is lucky they let him go to the Jr. High.  I still cant believe he wasn't fired or a parent kick his a*&^

A little much I agree but he had his kids ready to play.

Players still have to make plays to win the game no matter who's up. Coaches sometimes get too much credit for winning and sometimes to much blame for loosing. WhI checked ever team makes less errors and the most key plays usually holds the "W"!

You are correct. The coaches job is to get them prepared and to motivate. From what I hear not much of either is taken place.

Didn't Vidrine pitch in both PNG/Lumberton games last year?  I expect the PNG coach to try something different this year.

Henry pitched both GCM games last year and handled them fairly easily but he starts Leikich this year and they lose. It's a complete guess what he's thinking. I do know with their talent they better start winning.
