Silsbee should be front runner they will have the bats and Pitching however BC from what I have heard has a couple of move ins that will contribute in the DC battle between the 2 teams...As for as the rest of he spots its unpredictable will be another exciting season all the way to the last game. IMO
bc will be just fine, they have some fresh young faces and those move ins you speak of that will play a big part in their success in 2016 .

No need for wing T / slot T offenses up here. I mean, if it were 1967 and nobody from East Tx / DFW had won a state championship and Se Texas dominated with that style, I could see notes being taken, extra film time, but there's a reason why that offense don't work anymore at any competitive level. A disciplined, quick, physical defense will shut it down 100% of the time. You show me a team that's one dimensional and i'll show you a team that exits the playoffs quickly. I don't know much about bridge city, but when I heard they ran this offense, I started laughing. I though it died with my uncles generation 40 years ago. Anyway, good luck to y'all. We'll make it quick
keep thinking that and like pepper brooks mentioned they will be bouncing baskets balls on Monday. imo, i don't think carthridge will be able to stop it. their only hope will be to contain it and limit our possessions. if they put 8,9 in the box, dubose will pass on that....good luck carthridge,

I am rooting for y'all, but don't get carried away.
Carthage will be a very tough matchup for BC, they are big, physical and fast.
not getting carried away, confident is all, I mean BC plays in one of the toughest district in the region and has played the likes of Silsbee, jasper, Huffman. they all could match up with carthridge and all are capable of beating them. why not us?? #imabeliever

BC likes the underdog role, it will make it more satisfying when they send them packing for the offseason. if our offense can control the clock with some productive drives that end up with scores or taking time off the clock instead of 3 & outs or turnovers and our defense can make some stops. BC will take this one 4 sure. BC 42-28 & moves on to the 2nd round

Huffman was up 13 at half and ended up on the losing end, what's your point? say and think what you want, if not for the turnovers it would have been a closer game.

Like some of the BC posters stated, their mistakes cost them the game, they "beat themselves". I disagree.
Didn't Silsbee have 3 TD's called back due to "mistakes"? That's what I meant by the "80" post. If it's good for the goose, it's good for the gander. Those "mistakes" were the sole reason Silsbee did not score in the 3rd Q, 2 TD's called back in that Q. IF (don't like using it, but seems appropriate in this thread) those scores are not called back, this game is over by end of 3rd Q. It's a 49-21 game, not 35-21 at end of 3rd.
So was the last TD scored by BC a "garbage" TD? It had no impact. Silsbee led 41-35, then 47-35, then 55-35, then BC scores on 77 yard run making it 55-42, then Dontre breaks free on a 52 yard run trying to just get a first down to end the game. That one could be considered a "garbage" TD but a 13 point game at that time (over a minute left to play before he scores, BC with 2 timeouts left) is not really "garbage" time.
That title of that article is as unprofessional as it gets. You just don't do that in the media business. Particularly a game between two good teams, homer paper or not.
My "what" posts were more of a joke to a couple of posters but I admit, I got carried away and apologize for my behavior.

yeah and if bc don't turn it over 4 times, Silsbee don't get the opportunity to score 62 much less 80, that's just crazy talk. game could have went either way. unfortunately it didn't go BC way. hats off to the tigers, they have a really good team with a lot of talent. good luck next week and in the playoffs

I'm thinking Silsbee Defense shows up and shows out. Force fumbled and tackle well
they better or it's going to be a long night for the tigers. just not seeing it happen though. in my opinion, silsbee will have to out score them. BC's Defense will be the determining factor. bc wins out, jasper loses out, BIG RED takes the district championship. JMO

their will be no upset. this game could go either way. both teams are putting up some crazy offensive numbers. #5 will definitely be tough to contain. he is a playmaker and the cards "D" will have their work cut out for them. it will be the same for Silsbee on the defensive side. containing #28. I have seen the cardinals play in every game this season but the Huffman game and one thing is for sure BC will bring it till the clock strikes zero's. this should be a great game to watch.

Senior night, coming off a Big! Win over Huffman, BC Takes this one by 14. Silsbee better come ready for a dog fight. this is a different team than they have played in the past. 6 points separates them from being 8-0 on the season. Dubose has them believing. I know their defense has been suspect, but they some great senior leadership and some good young talent on that side of the ball. should be a great game. Silsbee will not be an easy out. but I still think BC will come out firing on all cylinders to take the "W"
