1. The wussification of America continues.........
2. Go to the Astros please!
3.
Nederland Freshman A 34 PNG 0 with 8 minutes left in the 3rd Quarter. There was no Freshman B game.
Final Nederland    34 PNG            16 Nederland starters were out at half, and the B teams played most of the second half.
4. Mom's post on Facebook leads to team forfeiting 3 games. [Hidden Content]
5. One of the best nights of baseball I have ever seen.
6. Longoria hits a walk off!!  Rays make the playoffs
7. Orioles win it with 2 runs the 9th!!!
8. Back to back doubles for the Orioles.  Pappelbon blows the save in the 9th
9. No Mariano for the Yanks to save the game in the 9th.  Resting him for the playoffs or sticking it to the Red Sox?  ;)
10. Rays and Yanks headed to extras.  Red Sox in a rain delay leading 3-2 in the 7th.
11. Dan Johnson with a solo HR in the bottom of the 9th with 2 out to tie the game for the Rays!! Wow!
12. Reyes got a bunt single in his 1st at bat, then pulled himself out of the game to most likely win the batting title over Ryan Braun.  Bush league?  Should he have finished the game? Hopefully Braun gets 5 hits tonight and makes Reyes look stupid.
13. Some of you make good points, but dominating those Indians at the Rez this Friday will be WAY sweeter than beating them at a neutral site.  :D
14. All tied up in the wild card with 2 games left to play.  The Sox have lost 17 out of their last 22 to let the Rays back in the playoff race. Who wins this AL Wild Card?
15. Catching H*ll.  ESPN 30 for 30 on Steve Bartman Tuesday night at 7pm.  Just set my DVR, this should be a good one.
16. Astros can play spoiler and keep the Cards out of the postseason.  Good win tonight in extras to put St. Louis a game back with 2 to play.
17. Lumberton is 0-4 on the year, but look at the teams they have played.  Losses to Jasper(2-3), BH(4-0), Silsbee(5-0), LC-M(4-0) who have a combined 15-3 record on the year are nothing to hang your head about.  Don't sleep on Lumberton just yet.  They can win some games in this wide open district 20-4a.
18.

Kirbyville throws interception with 1:13 left at Wills Point 15 yard line.  Looks like ballgame. Wills point 27 Kirbyville  26
Why were they throwing the ball, when they were in FG range and trailing by 1, with 1:13 left in the game?  ???
Kville doesn't kick fg's.  They usually go for 2 on all of their PAT's.  It's been a problem for years, even when they were making runs at State titles.
19. I guess the only stat that matters is the final score.  Still hard to believe that Lumerton lost with that big of an advantage in yards and total plays.

21. The stats look way worse than the score.  Very impressive for David Green and that Ozen offense to put up that many yards on a tough Central D.

23.
Lions running the Slot-T exclusively or do they have some spread O mixed in?
0 passing yards on only 1 attempt according to the stats for Livingston.  I guess if you are getting 7+ yards a carry you don't need a passing game.  It will be interesting to see if any defense in the district can slow their running game down.
