UCLA wins 8-0! They allowed 4 runs in their 5 CWS games . Great performance by their pitching staff and defense.  That said the NCAA needs to do something go get the offense more involved.  Those bats are terrible. 

UCLA takes game 1 3-1.  They continue to dominate with their pitching in what is so far the lowest scoring CWS ever.

Miss St. vs UCLA for the Championship.  I don't know if many people had these 2 teams in the final

Ken Duke hit one to 2 feet to win the playoff.  What a finish by Stroud.  You have to love it when the Pea Patch is getting talked about on national TV.

Just chipped on 18 to force a playoff in the Travelers.  Wow what a shot!

I scored as many points as Bosh tonight.  I wonder if they will make some changes in the off season. 

I think Gibobli bet on the Heat.  He had a terrible last 2 games.

Battier is going off

Kawai Leonard is going to be a star.  He has already passed up Manu as the Spurs 3rd best player IMO.

Why was Parker on the bench for the final play?

The Spurs are giving LeBron open 3's and he won't take the shot.  They aren't going to let him get to the rim. The Heat defensively are too worried about Green's 3 point shooting and are letting Duncan kill them down low.  No way Bosh can guard Duncan alone. 

LSU is 2 & out.  They scored 3 runs in their 2 CWS games. Tough to win like that. 

NC with a 2 run bomb in the 1st.  Not a good start for LSU.

Miss St beat Indiana to stay unbeaten.  Indiana missed tying the game by a foot on the hardest ball I've seen hit in the CWS. North Carolina vs. LSU today at 2pm in an elimination game.  One of the best teams in the country will be going home today.

[/quote] The Astros need to get it together and start losing again.  Hopefully the Marlins can win some games and leave the #1 pick to Houston again.  Appel and Rodon at the top of your staff would be good for many years. 

UCLA beats #4 LSU 2-1.  Aaron Nola suffers his 1st loss of the season giving up 2 unearned runs. All of the National seeds are in the losers bracket.  LSU will play #1 North Carolina Tuesday night in an elimination game.  One of the favorites will be going home.
