Liberty
8/12 vs Bay City

I am not sure what look we will get from Bay City. We're going to be young on both sides of the ball.
Times?

I just hope the new coach can open up the offense and get it out of the rut it was stuck in.

I used to live in Liberty. It’s nice little town. Im still going there 3 or 4 times a week for sports. It wouldn’t nice if the city could start getting some new houses going up like the next door neighbor.
Yes and no....biggest reason why they can't is due to all the flooding

Cleveland is much closer to Kingwood.. which has a nice hospital.

Both the biggest reason for a better hospital to be on the east side of the river compared to the band aid station we have now

Well isnt he from there? I'm sure he wanted to. Do the Slacks still run the girls side or does the AD get to oversee that program as well ? I"m not sure how their system works over there nowadays. Our Supt is from Liberty....and i think she may have even coached there many years ago
Who is y'alls supt?

I don’t believe Liberty has the caliber of football players that they did when Taylor got there. That’s a big factor. And I get it.. top guys change. Maybe because of complacency or because of community being unhappy. I get it. However.. the previous guy seemed to have been in it for the long haul. Consistency is very rare in SeTx and I was actually proud of Liberty for going against the norm.. or so I thought. I think consistency prevails unless changes are blatantly obvious. So maybe there was good reason. Having said that…
I have no doubt the new guy will likely do a good job and bring some new energy. Definitely looks good on paper and checks the boxes.
The community hardly back the the program back when it is was a ranked. And it has gotten to complacent and soft in the past years.

If a D1 prospect is to be produced in liberty it would be a needle in a hay stack.

Nothing that I've heard

Hopefully there will be some big changes in liberty then

21-10 liberty with 4min left in the 4th

Shepherd just got a safety
-
Liberty fumbles on first series shepherd recovers on Liberty 22
-
14-8 @ the half
-
Well liberty just got a td called back for a hold
-
14-8 liberty
-
8-6 shepherd
-
Well half way through the first half only 3 pass attempts total. Both teams are sticking heavy to the run to control the clock
-
Liberty draws first blood but missed the xp... 6-0
-
If liberty stays with the same offense that they're running right now I really don't see them getting a playoff shot unless they get lucky
-
14-7 1:10 in the first half
-
14-0 liberty 1:37 left in the first half
-
Bad snap liberty 3rd and 30. Next play took it to the house.
