    I believe Coach Samples is cursed on this stage. I don't think he'll ever beat NS at State, I also don't think he'll ever win a state championship even though he's a great coach. I got NS. By double digits.

    Seems to me Westfield shouldn't have turned over the ball, penalties and turnovers seem to be a theme of how Westfield has lost big time games over the past several years regardless of who the head man is.

    Both DeSoto and Duncanville going for a state championship in each 6A division next weekend. The talent on/around Belt Line Rd is seriously ridiculous.

    No, it's playoffs, they have to get it in. With this situation I think the UIL would grant a waiver to finish Sunday or Monday. Heck I'd just find a stadium to the South of there out of the threat of lightning and get it finished tonight. Hopefully Mother Nature will stop striking, the clock is currently down to 14mins. They should've moved the start time of this game to Noon instead of starting at 2pm. Both schools knew this was probably going to happen.
