I don't remember the year, but I saw Immanuel McElroy for P.A. Lincoln score 50 against Wheatley in the 4A Region III Final at the Campbell Center. Lincoln lost by 3 I believe. I saw Bryan Sallier score 28 points with 20 or 22 rebounds, and I think that was in the State Semi-final. I also saw Darryl McArthur put on a show at the Beehive. Every game that I saw Earl Evans play. If I remember correctly, Earl missed the bus going to play at Lake Charles Boston, and he came in I believe after halftime and scored 50 and Lincoln won. Believe he was MVP of the District that year that included Lincoln and Silsbee.
DV isnt going to like this. I am sure there is an explanation why LaFleur got MVP in a district that included Lincoln
;D -

The system is broke and the uil needs to fix it.
is that the right site? i only saw a few from Texas but they were from other schools.
LOL!! Please do not go by Future 150. Its a ranking site where they rank kids who attend their camps by PAYING and playing. Next example please!!!
the poor inner city kids who couldn't learn in public schools have money for basketball camp?
hmmmmmm....... :-X

In the 90s: Franklin Paul (Central) abusing Lincoln in a Jaguar win at the Beehive. In the 2000s: Every J'Covan Brown game I went to at Kelly. It just wasnt fair for whoever had to guard him. -

I remember in 93 my cousin played for TJ, TJ played Cherokee after PNG played it for 5 minutes straight. TJ players got tired of PNG playing Cherokee throughout the night and shutout PNG 21-0. 8) They had to have played it at least 20 times throughout that game. I think that was the first game i asked my mom: "What is that thing dancing in the middle of the field with the ugly shoes on"? ;D -

One has a larger area.......wow!
Gee, Dove- It would appear you did not read Mr. Sodeks post or you think he not telling the truth. From what I saw, one of the first nine players came to the school during his Varsity years. Looks like everyone else is pretty much homegrown. Are you going to "suggest" that this same type of situation exists at Yates, Madison, and Triple A?
AAA players started out home grown. They were there as well BEFORE high school ::)
Yea, right. They were all in the same neighborhood.
Hey Dove which neighborhood? Same neighborhood as the school or same neighborhood umpteen miles away from the school?
Now Kobe thinks that play was dirty that dehanty Jones did to him ::)
it wasnt a dirty play, but the NBA has a rule about giving the guy room to land, i guess the NBA thinks every player should know when another player is going for a fadeaway jumpshot so they dont contest the shot in any capacity. That crap happens EVERY game in the NBA, it just so happened it was Kobe who got injured. Ive seen Paul Pierce, Melo, Nash, Jason Kidd amongst others this year have this happen to them without getting injured, they were given no room to land on a fadeaway, where was the NBA then with their statements all over ESPN?

It is possible I have my building mixed up, but I could swear last October they were in a bright orange building on 6th street headed towards the airport. They are actually on 9th, just south of C street. P.S. Dayton sucks.......to stay on topic. ;D
the original building was shaped like a actual house, it was bright orange.
Then I am right, it did move. It's now in a white building that looks like a house. The orange one is still there. P.S.
