Having a year and a half in this new system West Brook is returning like 15  players ( the entire offensive line) but seems all the critics are writing them off! What do you think, leaving out your bias my schools the best attitude. Is Flanagan going to produce a winning year this upcoming season?
No playoffs. Winning season as far as record: Yes.
 2. [Hidden Content] I can believe it. Just like Rick Adelman is targeted in the NBA.
 3.
They never lost to SFA and that was with the kid that played at LSU( good player, played with the Patriots), whose names has slipped my mind. I think they made the playoffs one year after Coach Fischer left, but in coaching, the year after counts as the previous coaches year, at least where I am from. Since then H-J has not been back. They won district with him there too.
Eric Alexander...
 4.
There have been many students in the past that were offered football scholarships but didnt have the grades and could not get the SAT scores to get in. Josh Williams played at Arkansas State and was a freshman All-American at Linebacker (before he quit his senior year) . Many have forgotten the history of the Pat Fischer era.
I havent, i do believe his teams gave my HS problems (SFA) Matter of fact, wasnt he the last HC to lead HJ to the playoffs??
 5. I feel for other SEC tracksters having to compete against him next year when he's at LSU.

 7.
At Lake Travis would love to have them finish the a/c ducting for the reserve seating to go along with the video screens behind each seat, maybe by Aug..
;D
 8. Q: Whats the difference between the Houston Astros and a mosquito? A: A mosquito stops sucking. Q: What do I have in common with the Houston Astros? A: This Fall we'll both be watching the World Series on television.
Totally agree
 10. [Hidden Content] Goodwin to the Draft, Cauley-stein and Wiltjer staying in school. Noel to announce later.
 11. [Hidden Content] [Hidden Content] Wonder how this would go over here in Texas.........It would work out nicely in basketball most certainly  ;) Im not so sure as far as football though but thats just my opinion.
 12.
You will probably never hear me say this but 1 time this year. [move]The Astros are in 1st place in the American league West!!![/move] ;D ;D ;D FINAL: Houston 8 Texas 2
;D
 13.
Astros leading 8-2 going to the 9th. Rangers are looking more like a triple A team than than the Stros tonight, a lot of misplayed balls by the Rangers. Maxwell with 2 stand up triples tonight for Houston
Got that right, smh, im just glad its the 1st game and not a playoff clinching game.  :-[
 14.
If Vidor's OC is headed to H-J as the new coach there the Pirates are in need of a new OC. Mathews doesn't call the plays so this is a pretty pivotal position for them. here are some guys that could be possiblitlies. 1. Brian Huckabay- former Orangefield head coach who is now OC at Hull-Daisetta and runs the Slot-T. Is friends with Mathews and both from Bridge City so they'd probably work together well. Will be seamless transition as they run the same offense. Huckaby is a masterful play caller. 2. Greg Neece- Probably on borrowed time in Kirbyville so why not get back to doing what he does best- running an offense . Plus he already lives in Vidor so it will be a shorter commute for him. Only complication is the Wing-T is what he runs but it isn't too far off from Mathews' slot-T. 3. More than likely Vidor will not have the money for an experienced OC and Mathews will promote some random assistant already on the staff.
whoa! didnt know that. He seems like someone Vidor would go after but Kville was pretty young last year, i think he is gonna be ok there after they make the playoffs this season. Doesnt Liberty Hill run the Slot-T? If so maybe their OC would be interested......

She asks her students to raise their hands if they were Astros fans, too. Not really knowing what a Astros fan was, but wanting to be like their teacher, hands explode into the air. There is, however, one exception. A girl named Mary has not gone along with the crowd. The teacher asks her why she has decided to be different. "Because I'm not a Astros fan." "Then," asks the teacher, "what are you?" "Why I'm proud to be a Texas Rangers fan.", boasts the little girl. The teacher is a little perturbed now, her face slightly red. She asks Mary why she is a Rangers fan. "Well, My Dad and Mom are Rangers fans, and I'm a Rangers fan, too!" The teacher is now angry. "That's no reason," she says loudly. "What if your mom was a moron, and your dad was a moron, What would you be then?" A pause, and a smile. "Then," says Mary, "I'd be a Astros fan." ;D
Even though I am a die hard Astros fan!!! That was funny ;D ;D
;D
I picked Louisville before the season started and I picked them in my bracket (which is destroyed!). Sticking with them. I'm going with Louisville and Michigan. High scoring game...87-82 Louisville.
Smith & Siva versus Burke & Hardaway Jr. that would be a good matchup
