I have a 15 yro also and he would like to play up. He will be 16 in July. If it he can't is it to late to sign up for 15yro division? Hope to be in Nederland tonight.

My son played league until he was 11. At first we thought league was the best option. He came to me and said "Dad we have a good team, but no-one cares"(this wasn't something new).He went select. It was the correct call and I didn't regret it.

Lost the 3rd one 4 to 3 and let the 4th one get away from us....But so proud of the girls they never gave up....

We are having a Rag Ball tournament. What is Rag Ball? Rag Ball is softball with balls that aren't as hard. 1st and 2nd place teams will receive rewards. Proceeds willl go to the 12U Fury all-Star team to help defer fees associated with Regional and State tournaments, travel & hotels.
Date: Saturday June 4, 2011
Time: 9:00 am
Location: OYBS Memorial fields
Registration Deadline Thursday June 2, 2011 before Noon.
Entry Fee: $100/Team(team of 10) $10 extra per Player. Team consist of 7 male and 3 female; 12U boy may replace a female.

If there is a runner on 1st, who tries to steal 2nd. The S.S. runs and stands between 2nd and 1st approximately 3ft from 2nd to receive the throw from the catcher. The S.S. blocks the runner from stealing 2nd before the ball arrives. Is the S.S. allowed to obstruct the runner and does the runner need to avoid the S.S?

Phenoms won 8 to 7 in the bottom of 5th with a runner on 1st. Then a walk off double to win the game....
