I just read all the posts. What a game. Both teams came to play. I can see that Silsbee will be ready to give Jasper a game week after next.

Congratulations Dogs on the win! And good game WOS. In the first half, except for the "big plays" it was tough for Jasper offense to get much going. Both teams will be better for the experience gained from this game.

I am off to Jasper, so this is probably my last post before the game. Good luck to both teams. Hope for no injuries, and no turnovers, and no penalties for either team. Let the team play decide the game.

Hey, I know much less about this than you do. Yes, it will be very interesting to see how it works against a defensive oriented team like WOS. Friday will be my first time to see it. It did seem to be rather productive against Gilmer and Kirbyville. Then again, they may bring out some special offense just for WOS. ;D

Did it ever occur to you that maybe the Bulldogs had something to do with your cats playing the worst game you have seen in a long time? Now thunder you should know by now that your opponet has nothing to do with the way your team plays. ;D LOL yea I guess you are right those 3 interceptions were actually thrown to the defensive man. yeah, he just got lucky to be in the right place three times, not to mention his fumble recovery. ;D

Don't know, but in the Kirbyville broadcast one announcer said "a few", as opposed to "several" for KV. That could mean most anything. Does WOS have anyone going both ways? Had to LOL at this one. WOS ALWAYS has players going both ways. I knew that. ;D just had to ask.

Your right, Price does not unless it's a critial moment. However, under Skidmore, "Little Price", and our current O-Coordinator, there is very little difference in the play calling. You take that, along with every team from TIFI to Varsity running the same plays, you understand why we can't and won't beat a fast aggressive defense. 89, I thought you would have this team fixed by now. They just don't listen to you. ???

As far as I am concerned, it still is.

These pre-district games are played to prepare for district and the playoffs. Both teams won. Perhaps it is time to move on?

Jasper's close call with KV wakes up the Dogs. ;D Jasper by 7. I expect some old school smash-mouth football from both teams. The big question is whether two weeks rest will help, or hurt the Dogs. ??? On the other hand, maybe they have not been resting.

Congratulations to BOTH teams. KV even though you lost, I will still take a little crow. I did not think you would be able to play WOS so close. WOS 21-20 final. KV went for 2 and just missed.
