Got a chance to watch some basketball over the weekend at Omar Sneed tournament I would like to say it's going to be a lot of underclass men that will help programs this year. Was looking forward to watching the soon to be freshman Braylon from silsbee but he didn't play was told he was resting up for the Nike Peach Jam this week but it's some talent in this area I feel like it's going to be a lot of underclass men that helps varsity teams this year just my opinion

If you want a moral victory and happy with that there is the credit. Silsbee was missing key players pretty sure Ozen was too but in a regular season game pretty sure would not have been that close. But I hope Buna does well this year but you have to realize you're talking about some power house schools here.

How did it go at Ozen yesterday haven't heard anything from it?

Didn't make to games in Silsbee yesterday how was it ST413.

I would like to be at practice should be some intense practice where the first unit win some and some days the second unit win some be tough go at one another practice.

Michael McCain sprained his ankle pretty bad last night but just found out its not broken should be out a month or so. All teams at the Ozen summer league has some good looking players a lot of talent in this area. Kelly gonna be a good team this year plety of potential on that team.Central has a lot of height they are long looks to be pretty good. Westbrook has size also got Parquet over there he looked good. Ozen looked nice also. Silsbee is really deep I honestly think the lineups will change depending on what's needed for each game and you can kinda always tell who the starters are when its 2 min left and tie ball game. People always get caught up in who starts its who finishes Coach Sigler has a problem that every coach in the area would love to have talent talent talent

I personally don't think anyone takes McCain spot but from watching the games today when Bush in game and Adams on the other side the lane will stay open for McCain because both of them young men can shoot and do Bush even have range dang lil guy can shoot

Went to silsbee gym and the guys are in the gym working seen Crowder Adams McCain Harris and Bush in the gym they getting up shots working I asked one of the assistants what they gonna do with all that talent just smiled

IT WAS A GOOD GAME BETWEEN SILSBEE TEAM 2 AND OZEN I BELIEVE SILSBEE WON BY MAYBE 8ISH. KELLY LOOKED GOOD THEY BEAT LUMBERTON. SILSBEE TEAM 1 BEAT KIRBYVILLE THEY LOOKED GOOD ALSO SO THIS WILL SET UP FOR SOME GOOD GAMES THE NEXT FEW WEEKS ALOT OF GOOD TALENT OUT THERE.

I was told by one of the coaches that its just one team and roster for the Ozen Summer League. And three teams for Silsbee league with the boys split up.

Hear schools getting new kids how many will impact the programs right away whether they are move ins or coming from junior high.

It's a lot of returning players that will be better by the time the season starts and there is always a sleeper or two in the bunch. Along with new kids that will be coming to high school SETX always have some good basketball players.

Congrats Tre! He is a good kid hopes he makes the most of this opportunity. Few times I watched him play believe he was too unselfish he has skills.

Heard Ozen summer league starts tomorrow. It will be good for kids to get back in gym and play against different kids.

Do they have any returning basketball players over there.

Silsbee has a lot of returning players coming back that is very impressive, but they have to continue to work and not take what they did this year for granite it will be harder next year because of expectations.

Silsbee played Lamar Consolidated in Deer Park that year Lamar had a star guard by the name of Virgil Cobbin who went on to play for the University of St Louis. Elvin Earl Spearman was a great ball player you definitely are correct and the year was 94-95 so it would have been class of 95 we were loaded you had Damian Bush, Aldrick Henry, Tyrell Davis, Donyell Allen, Russell Whitmore, Willie Jones, Damian Taylor and a few more guys that was a good team the game between us and Lincoln in the Montagne was the state championship game believe everyone knew that coming into the game and they had played twice already with each team winning on the other home court

Very interesting just had lunch with Bush and Jones the fathers of the two young men they are coming home so there it is.

BadSanta you didn't play on the team but the 94-95 Tigers sure appreciated you and you will always be associated with that team bro.
