2.
Not sure if Nelson is having arm issues in some way but this was the third straight time I saw him pitch that something just didn't look right. Having control issues and staying open. Started seeing it against Vidor. Hope that's not the case.
I thought he looked pretty good. Not many hard hit balls untill maybe 4th inning.. Umpire was horribly inconsistant...
 3.

What time is the game Sat.?  And is it at Lamar again?
No the game Saturday is in Baytown but I do not know the time.
Game 2 starts at 3:00
 4.

I just assumed that Long was the guy ...I thought he was the # 1 last year..It doesnt matter they are both good
Long was the #1 last year and I agree with what you said, just thought I'd clear up why Thames was the starter in a one gamer. Coach wasn't being cocky as stated earlier, just pitching the guy he thinks gives him the best chance to win.
They all threw the ball well for sure. Just looked to me like the scouts were there to see the guy that closed..They had their radar guns on him even while he was in the bull pen.(he looks like he is 6'6" or taller "a beast" )
 5.
Congrads to BH 8)
Who is BH number one pitcher? Saw a couple of scouts with radar guns on the big closer .. He was throwing 91 to 92 mph... Kind of cocky not starting your ace in a 1 gamer
 6.
You HAVE to win game 1 of a 3 game series. Pull out all the stops. Throw your ace, small ball, green light 3 and 0, whatever it takes. Let your #3 go in game 2. See what happens. The pressure is on them. IF you go to 3, start your #2 and then it's Johnny Wholestaff. A 1 gamer is another Johnny Wholestaff. Quick hook or ride that horse as long as you can. Doing whatever it takes at the plate.
In my opinion, Game 2 is as equally important as game 1 ( other than throwing the SE Texas weather factor in here) So if you have as I stated before a ( Nolan Ryan ) that I think we will have trouble scoring a single run against Im saving my ace for game 2
 7. If I think your better than me, I'll take my chances with one game...If I think I'm better, your going to have to beat me twice.. As far as pitching matchups in a 3 game series,  If your team has a " D1 "  type dominate pitcher throwing in game one, I'm saving my ace for game two and hope for a third game (this is assuming my team is the underdog) If I feel I'm the favorite team I would go Ace first then #2, then #3..... My opinion
 8.
It was a compliment..them boys can play...But the fans ain't worth a crap...See you in three days...
G-dad Don't lump us all with that guy..I took it as a compliment  Those were 2 great plays to rob base hits.. Guidry had a pretty good play at third that probably saved an extra base hit too...Your team came to play.. Looking forward to Saturday
 9. Looks like Ozen is trying to play the spoiler in 20 4A... Don't look past the Panthers
 10.
you know who I'm picking  3 - 2 (in 9 innings)
The old injun didn't miss it by much (Although I did say 9 innings and I thought PNG would start Graham)  Great game Ned had some chances but didn't get the timely hit...2 good teams
 11. good game from 2 quality teams...There is a chance both of these teams can make a good playoff run in region 3
 12.
Doesn't matter where they are playing. PNG will see Brown huge advantage Ned. Ned7 PNG 3
i think you will see Graham on the mound for PNG since their last game was Thursday..I don't see the dogs scoring 7 runs with him starting JMO... I'm sticking with my 3-2 PNG prediction
 13. you know who I'm picking  3 - 2 (in 9 innings)
 14. Dang I can't believe I missed this one..I thought it was on Friday, must have missed the date change...Sounds like it was a  good one . Congrats Injuns
 15.

Good luck keeping the PNG's offense down to 3 runs. Nelson will be on the bump and the most runs he has given up is 2 and that  was to a good Livingston's team against a SFA signee. I think that PNG is going to score atleast 5+. Another tid bit of information is that Nelson has only let up 2 runs in district so far. So with that statistics posted for you. I do not think LCM will score 5. PNG wins this one
Which two teams was Nelson facing when he pitched??
To Bear:    It was not Central and Ozen if thats what your thinking. He gave up 2 against Livingston and shut out Lumberton....
 16. The Anahuac Refuge has been charging a fee on the East Unit for quite a few years now..
 17. Congrats to Kyler Nicotre, Jayce Nelson, and all other honored Indians
 18.
The "monster" bucks are also smarter which is how they get to be monsters. A 3.5 year old deer should be right at or greater than the 13" rule. That is the intent of the rule to let them grow up and not kill them at the typical 1.5 year old 4 or 6 point or basket rack 8 point at 2.5 years old. If you put all buck fawns in a pen, in three years all of them will reach maturity or at least as far as the rule goes and each year after with a good growing season should be bigger up until maybe after the 7th year. If the rule has been in place for 4 years, there are a bunch of deer that are now mature that would not have been. They did not disappear off of the earth at 3-5 year old. In fact there are a lot more of them now than there were 2 years ago. A bad year because of the drought or inabiltiy to find them doesn't mean that they aren't out there or that the rule doesn't work. The 13" rule sure didn't make them shrink but yes the deer are smarter at that age and harder to hunt. The older ones don't come waltzing in like does or young bucks.
You have backed up the point I made in an earlier post. Older bucks equal smarter bucks and with 26000 acres to hide on we will see "VERY" few of these guys in Daylight hours
 19. Still waiting for all those "monster bucks" at the Moore Plantation this 13" rule was supposed to provide us.. There were a grand total of 3 weighed in at the check station opening weekend off of 26000+ acres. One was 14" and one a 16" . Not sure of the third Maybe it will take a few more years , this is only the 4th or maybe even the 5th year we have had this stupid law
 20.
You can go to Cool 92.5 website and click Listen Live if that helps.
thanks
 21. PN-G will be ready to play you can bet on that...If Livingston doesn't throw a few passes to make the defensive backs play off the line, we will be able to make them punt at least a few times.. Our offense will score at least 38...  I'm gonna say  41-34 PN-G
 22.
There are tons of 13 inch bucks on the moore plantation.   You must be a rookie!
go back to sleep .. you must have missed your nap
