Congratulations Jasper you did a great job and hope to see another one next year.

Jasper is a great team, but im not sure about best ever. IMO the 06 BC team was pushing that greatest 3A team ever......the bats were unbelieveably great, then when Stringer is your 3rd string pitcher, you have got to have a great pitching staff. yea they didnt win state, they just had a bad game at the worst time, that group of boys were something else. Not to knock on Jasper's team, they do have a good one

I believe if you had read it correctly you would have seen that I gave a big ol congrats to Jasper and said that they well deserve it, however as I had read in many of these threads as they go on people from all teams start bashing the others so therfore I just gave allitle suggestion to the good ol and well deserving Jasper boys to keep there title pure by staying humble otherwise the title they so well deserves could be tainted by being declaired a trem with no respect and that would not be good.  So, if you took it the wrong way Indian boy or what ever you call yourself, I really don't care.

Jasper, I hope you understood what I was getting at.  You are a great team and did deserve the State Championship, and to tell you the truth, I really hope you get it again next year too, that would be the best and would definently give you the title of Best team ever to go along with it. Again CONGRATULATIONS!!!!    :o

There is no disgrace in loosing to a 3rd place team. There is a reason the districts send 3 teams to the playoffs..(anything can happen in baseball).....Bay City just had a better week that's all and nothing more.....Does it mean they are really better then LCM...I say NO!!!..They were just better this past weekend.

PNG beat LCM in the early season did it mean they were better...NO just that day they were and as you seen LCM beat them the 2nd time around, are we better then them No we were just that day. As I said before anything can happen in baseball.

LCM has a great program and most of this forum counted them out before the season even got started and look at what those young men have done...I AM VERY PROUD OF YOU GUYS.

Not only are you great kids but your coaches are GREAT too. And for those of you who think that your little bashings will effect them and how they play the game you are sadley mistaken. The LCM Bear Baseball Players and coaches have more class in there little fingers then to read your little stupid bashing to let anything you have to say bother them.

You are nothing and mean nothing to them so whom ever you are just know this....What comes around goes around so beware and know that something later on in life will happen and you will look back in life and wish you were a kinder person.

Jake hit .535 this year with 11 home runs beating the LCM record for HR's

if you watched the 10 o'clock news last night on channel 6, Coach griff was on with Jake Rowell, Kris Hearn, and Adam Legget.

During the interview Griff Stated this is a time for getting all his pitchers time in on the rubber. He is not really interested in a win so much as he is in getting his boys sometime in on the rubber and some hitting practice.

How do you get to the Woodville field?  ???

Good write up and well deserved ! I watched him the other night vs Lumberton and he is smooooth ! I was impressed that he bobbled the first or second grounder, then came right back and made play after play, good speed, good bat and good arm.

how do i get to bridge city baseball field coming from i-10 (high island/winnie area) and what time is tonights game

Take Hwy 87 toward Port Arthur, continue on 87 / 73 over the Memorial Bridge to Bridge City.

Once in Bridge City you will pass the main intersection at Roundbunch, continue straight.

You will turn to the right next to a Chicken food stand alittle past the Sonic Drive in. I am not sure of the street name though.

The ball field will be up that road alittle on the left.

As the season is High School baseball has move along and may I say very intensely at that, I just want to give a shout out to the LCM Bears.

In many post on this forum through out the season LCM was not givin much of a chance because they are a young team, with only 1 returning starter Jake Rowell, and transfer varsity started Kris Hearn formally of PNG. But the Bears have seemed to have proven the ones whom did not have any faith in them and their God given abilities along with great coaching from the coaching staff wrong.

I just want to say to the Bears that no matter what happens tomorrow night against Vidor that you have deffinently earned your way into the play offs this season and to be reconized as 9th in the top 10 rankings for district 22-4A.
