We had more rushing yards and won the game that night. Tyler is no doubt the best back in our district... but that's not the question. The question was "backfield" not "back." We put up more points and yards with our rushing attack in 1 fewer game than everybody else. I'll echo ST413 in wondering why Coach Smith didn't have Thomas and Tyler working together at almost all times. i think I'll take more rushing yards and more points in fewer games, a head to head win, and an undefeated record in district as proof that BC's backfield>Silsbee's backfield.

Morris and Baker start along with Draper, and Denton fills in well. The Qb Trahan is usually good for a TD or two, and Lara (freshman) is showing a nose for the end zone in cleanup duty. Check the stats... we run almost exclusively AND led the district in points scored... despite getting blanked by WOS and only playing nine games. And Smoketown thinks they have the best backfield.

Sigh.

I believe that BC will be the visiting team.

I understand that we didn't want to play in Lufkin. I don't know why. I don't know if it's because Lufkin is so much closer to home for you guys or it's a $$$ thing.

BC looked sharp last night. They're facing an opportunistic Center team, as proven by their recent win over Kilgore. I predict we'll pass the ball <5 times and run a bunch. BC wins this one by a couple if BC shows up focused and execute. If we show up and make a few mistakes we'll be one and done again... Center can win this, no doubt. I also predict that we won't hear a peep out of Center on this board. Do they have the Internet in Center?

BC is rolling. I expect Dubois to call off the dogs after the half. Even our bad luck is turning off good tonight.

Who had a problem with Abe Martin? I mean, it's closer for the schools up north than for any of us down here, but there's really not a "meet in the middle" location that's suitable.

I thought the agreement was that all of 9/10 4A bidistrict games would happen in Lufkin. Thursday night, Friday night (Silsbee/Carthage), then a doubleheader in Saturday. Somebody might be able to confirm or correct me.

Can you imagine how things would be with this new system but without Tyler and Jones transferring in? A. Thomas would have a lot of success, but not as much as Tyler had had.... plus you wouldn't have had A. Thomas on defense where he's been a bigtime contributor. "Meet me at the coach's house! You get some diesel! I'll bring the matches!!!" Things could have gone a lot worse for Coach Smith and the Tigers than they have.

Having Tyler hasn't hurt the transition to a running attack.

BC clinched a piece of the championship and the #1 seed, I believe. If BC did end up losing next week and Silsbee won, they'd be tied at 4-1 each and BC would hold the #1 seed because Silsbee's lone loss would be to BC. i heard first D.C. in 14 years, but I don't know if that's accurate.

I suggest that you take purdiest gurl cousin by the REAL pride of Henderson, "The World's Oldest Dairy Queen," and then take her parking somewhere off of Chicken Feather Road.
