Idk why la grange is looking past HJ to WOS... HJ coaches will come up with a game plan to stop that offense and then what?? I also don't know why mightyrat wont reply back to Bedelmon?? scared? LOL

La Vernia was big physical and athletic on both sides of the football, so yes we have seen a team like HJ before. HJ defense will be a challenge for our offense but the Leps are capable and will get their points one way or another. If we can hold HJ to 21 points or less the Leps will win this game.

Well since you say that HJ played WOS which is fast and athletic so HJ has seen a team like LG.... either way this doesn't help either team. We won't know how these team will match up against each other until friday at 1 when they take the field..

LG's defense only average eh? They only average 14 points allowed per game while HJ averages 19 and LG has had a stronger schedule. So does that make HJ defense"only average".

 

You will see all the weapons the LG offense has Friday Dobbins, Hutchison, Rigden, Mueller and Janda to mention five. Our middle LBs #30 Worsham and #99 Garza will blow up the middle. Please continue to underestimate the Leopards just like Orangefield did. You will see.

I didn't mean it as #22 is all you guys have.. just 90% of the plays go through him.. LG is probably up there with WOS in offensive skill.. but as far as your defense goes you should probably go read the Bellville thread.. they thought their defense was the greatest thing since sliced bread and then HJ rolled into town and showed them other wise.. This should be a great game but if you keep on saying HJ hasn't seen a team like LG, well then LG hasn't seen a team like HJ.. Defense too much for LG.. HJ wins this one 21-17

I have.. watched about three games now.. hudl is a hell of a thing. LG is a one man show. Better than average defense and a hell of an athlete on the offensive side of the ball. If HJ can stop #22 and i do believe they can with their linebacker play, then hj takes this one and meets back up with the WOS Mustangs next week!! GO HAWKS 

we have played one winless team who yall played besides WOS that is any good? i was just watching a few clips of HJ and from what i see is you guys are in trouble, look to me like yall have a hard time with pass defense and runs up the middle. but i dont know anything i am just going off the clips, i only watched four clips of different games and it was the same in all of them. maybe the clips are wrong but that is what i saw. this will be the best defense HJ has played all year. sorry you brought this reply on youself. you cant hide from the truth. like i have been saying this will be a very good game but i root for Bellville 35-21 we win

Royal and Bay city both are winless teams bud.. and if you wanna throw some slugs out here we can.. Bellville is undersized and will get bullied all damn night.. I mean if HJ had Bellville's schedule their defense would have put up better numbers than Bellville's... Weaker schedule that gives you confidence won't help you in the playoffs vs big boy teams.. As far as comparing schedules, bellville doesnt compare.. correct me if I'm wrong but they played 2 or 3 winless teams and a couple more not close to .500 lol... (their schedule is soooo competitive..) You guys are all high and mighty on this bellville defense... Well you are gonna get your taste of a hell of front 7 tonight. Bellville looks small but athletic. has some hard runners.. too bad thats not enough to beat the HJ Hawks.. The Hawks will have their way with the brahmas .... 35-14

It's the same line that held you to 6 points last year? Speed means the rover crashes around the end to stop a play up the middle, a CB blitzes off the edge to stop an outside run. Linebacker fills the hole before the back can get there. Gang tackling is HARD to overcome. Speed makes gang tackling happen. One reason the Cowboys are better is they got linebackers who can run. How many times are you going to run that trap before the defensive man gets wise to it?

 

The strong side of the HJ line is entirely too big for WOS.. just watch you'll see why HJ has had the success they've had running the ball behind them. Your speed wont do much for you when HJ' O-line is blowing yalls D-line into the linebacker's laps. I know HJ's game plan wont be to try to out run WOS.. WOS is too fast, too quick for you to run, run, run. It just is not going to happen. Your not going to score time and time again on WOS by running the ball. Your going to have several sustained drives, I figure probably 4-5. To win your going to have to score TD's on at least 4, if not all 5.

What does speed have to do with hitting you with 5 yards on a dive? or 4 on a trap? Then once you stack the middle we hit the outside for a good gain.. WOS speed will only help them when chasing down the Hawks runningbacks in open field.. WOS D looks too light to stop HJ from picking up 3or4 all night.

All these WOS fans keep saying that HJ isnt 40 points better than last year.. I dont think WOS is still that 40 point team either..?

Does WOS run the same line-up as Oklahoma? I'm not sure how the x's and o's work as far as formatting. I remember years ago we ran the option a lot. Why did the team change their approach?

im going to go ahead and say this.. When HJ wins my reaction on this fine forum will be quite the sight. Cant wait to shut up all these big mouths from WOS come halloween night.

Word on the sour lake streets is that there are some key players with ankle problems. They are going to treatment and taking it easy during practice. They will be ready by Friday no doubt. Looks like Friday will be a bad day to be a longhorn...

HJ hasn't proven a whole lot yet either. You beat Tatum...who I think is solid. Not great, but solid. And I missed that one... But...No matter how you spin it it was a 1 possession game. And they are getting embarrassed in their district.

Yea the best start in school history and being undefeated through a pretty tough schedule isn't something serious.. These boys have already opened so many people's eyes (except your's i guess) you must be blind deaf and dumb if you think HJ hasnt proved anything so far. Dont try predict HJ's future because week in and week out these boys have shown they are for real and stepped up and out-played the team on the opposite side of the ball. At this point HJ has shown the only team that can beat them is themselves. Keep doubting em bud.... lol

Not saying that at all. The Bobcats gave hj all they wanted. Just the fact that HJ came out that flat surprised me. But a dub is a dub no matter how it looks. Hope HF is ready for HJ to bounce back from what is HJ folks consider a bad outing.
