The last time Brenham wasn't in the playoffs was 1998.

Yea, that's probably the biggest surprise for me in the district this year. They were 13-3 last year, and you just kind of assume they will always be in hunt. They did have heavy graduation losses from last year, plus their coach left for Dripping Springs. This year, their top pitcher has been out some, so they are just not the same team. They had several errors on the infield last night which is so very uncharacteristic of the norm there.

Brenham's problems are deeper than that. The new coaching staff appears to be unwilling to make personnel changes or adjustments.
