I dont even know where to go to pick this game..  If you get the turnover free 2nd half team that played Vidor then its gonna be GCM's game. but if you get the other GCM well Ill give it to your Raiders.

I agree with you on that.  Ball control has been a major problem this year for GCM. 

You may be right but I'm hoping NS is still licking their wounds from getting beat 3 consective weeks by some really, really good teams.  I want to see WB take 'em down. 

Don't know.  They should.  I watched the game against Central.  Big boys on the O line and that noseguard, wow.  I hope they do beat North Shore.  Shake things up a bit in 21-6A. 

Well lets just blame population for the lack of success at west brook! Seems over the years west brook has been in the playoffs say somewhere around 17 years? Not until the new AD stepped in was this ever an issue! West brook has enough talent to continue its tradition and run to the playoffs, I do agree there are bigger populated schools but thats not in question on this board! bruin tradition is being lost! This will be 3 years in a row we may not make the playoffs. I dont care what the popluation is, there is plenty of talent for the coachs to win with! I am convinced from what ive seen since the AD arrived, he is in over his head as well as not being able to relate to the kids at all! Blame it on what you want and what whatever excuse you want if no playoffs this year with a team full of talent then believe me more bruins will begin to start the process in removing the problem. Many qualified coachs I know in this town can do a better job and would not mind the 96,000 salary to do so!! Its Playoffs or time to coach somewhere else!

Did Westbrook lose half of their students a few years ago?  I can't remember.

Obviously you don't know the student population at Sterling.  It's less than half of North Shore.

Lee cannot complete a pass.  Their talented RB's have zero blocking.  Their defense is terrible.  PNG "RUNS" away with it. 

With almost 5,000 students to choose from, they should should win every district game and most play off games.  In all sports.

This will be the first time these two schools have ever played each other.  For the seniors, it's the only time they will play each other.  A lot of these kids played together in Jr. High before being split up by GCCISD to make two weaker high school instead of one good high school. One thing is for sure. This is definitley a rivalry and emotions will be running high.  I'm not sure who will win. The new "Baytown Cup" award is at stake.  The winner of the cup owns the town for a year.  If RSS wins, they get the cup.  If GCM wins, we will have to wait for the outcome of the GCM-LEE game in week 7.  Should be a good battle.

That's a fact.  GCM won.

When their QB calms down and starts connecting on his passes they will be fine. 

We never even watched that game film. Too many missed opportunities.

I remember this game.  It was the worse way to lose.  Score - tied. Penetrations - tied. First downs, got us.  Defense was awesome in '82-'83.

Watched a little GCM inter-squad scrimmage and I liked the QB. They also have a massive kid on the O-line.  Hows Sterling and Lee looking?

The massive kid on the O-line was there last year.  He is a junior.  Too early to tell about Sterling and Lee.  New programs.

Bulldogs1990, did Lee stay on the ground or go to the air a lot.  I hear they are using a different QB and last year's QB is a RB along with another bigger soph RB.  Last year they could put up 28+ points per game but defense was swiss cheese.  Sounds like the defense is still swiss...I've never seen Jasper play before.  Are they a ground or air team?

I'm not sure, just noticed it in the video.  I guess we will find out in a few weeks.

I'm pretty sure that the kid playing QB in this video is going to be a soph in '14 season.  Very big and strong.  Rumor is he squats multiple reps over 400 lbs.  '13 season starting QB is the kid playing RB with the leggings on.  If they could find some blocking they will have a heck of a running game.  Unfortunately for them I don't think they will have that blocking.  Anyway, impressive athletes

He was never officially named the head coach at GCM.

Congratulations to both of these coaches. They were well liked by me and many players and fans.  I wish the well in their new jobs.

Not sure he made it to college.  Had discipline issues senior season of high school and was removed from the team mid-season.
