I do want them to win and I have a kid that’s on the team, so if you bash the players, I’m gonna bash you. Pretty simple. I have a vested interest, unless you have a kid playing, you’re just another guy that likes to bash kids out there giving it their all. Nice job .

Your not hurting my feelings big boy, but I’ve looked at your posts involving all Lamar sports and Nederland sports. Ever post you’re being critical of every sport, kids playing abilities, and anything else you can complain about. I just simply said if you think every coach, players, fans whoever suck so bad, throw your name out there so we can dissect your old playing days and what you offered to Nederland sports and Lamar University. That’s all. I’m at every baseball game that LU plays and they are a decent team, lacks some pitching, but overall a pretty decent team. Personally, they should’ve stayed in Southland. Lamar strength rating is #134 out of 304 D1 baseball teams right. [Hidden Content]

I agree, but you have to play within your budget. Ever since they brought football back, the other sports have been an after thought. They have Baylor, A&M, LSU, Oklahoma on this years baseball schedule. They usually play Rice and Houston every year, even before Davis got to LU. They play 30 conference games, and then 9 games against above mentioned teams. That leaves 17 games on a 56 game schedule. It’s common to play some northern teams at beginning of the year to help those kids get games in . Gillian did the same exact thing. I’m not a big Davis fan, but on baseball I feel y’all are being too harsh honestly. I do feel they should be recruiting more local kids.

All you do is get on every sports page and talk trash about each team. Please tell us how you did playing sports in college? also, Sam Houston got blown out tonight against Rice. If you liking talking so much smack about everyone, throw your name out so we can how good you were? I’m betting you didn’t play sports.

Whomever has let facilities go. If you been to Vincent Beck, the turf is nice, but the walls need painting, the restrooms are broke half of the time, the concession stand is horrible, Taco Rey was on board to spice things up with tacos and margaritas, but miscommunication happened and were told they don’t have the right permit, and Lamar pissed them off kicking them off campus. This baseball I’m talking about. This years team is pretty decent, not sure on the comments about the team from some of y’all. They currently are in the top catagories amongst all Texas D1 college programs right now. They can only play the schedule that’s given to them.

LU improved to 8-4 over the weekend.

Do you watch college baseball? There’s top 10 teams that lost 2 of 3 from so called weak teams this weekend.

Cardinal win 2 of 3 from Binghamton. Next up is Texas A&M on Tuesday.

The Cards walked it off in the season opener 2-1 in 14 innings!

That’s awesome! Enjoy retirement

Did you retire or you still at it?

Unless it’s changed in recent years, the WB Football HC didn’t have teaching duties.

Maybe Ned coaches since it was a scrimmage sat back to see how kids react to certain game situations and then work on mistakes at the next practice? I don’t know, just throwing that out since Nederland has some really baseball knowledge coaches.

Our big question is at QB. The loss of him is going to sting. Hopefully someone steps up, I hear there’s a couple, but they young. Not sure on the backup from last year. -
Only 4 home games? Interesting

Y’all don’t want that smoke😁

I was saying PAM because their furthest. Don’t read to much into it. -
My observation the past several years. If your kid is lucky enough to play college ball, the overwhelming majority struggle at the D1 level. Meaning lack of playing time, as well as adjusting to the every day grind that they’re not use to. Most leave after first year and go to a Juco to see if they can find a spot somewhere to get more playing time. All of a sudden they find Juco ball is extremely tough as well. They don’t have as much practice restrictions as D1. It’s brutal and body gets beat up pretty good. If you follow local players, watch how many last past two years and I’m talking some really good players in HS. Right now, college ball at all levels is very strong. Also, last year D1 had unlimited rosters due to Covid. This year they can have 40 on roster, and next year it’s back to 35 on roster. It’s definitely an uphill battle, the kids that want to play at next level better bust his tail in class, weight room, and skill set. After that work extremely hard on the mental aspect of the game, because that’s where the majority struggle. I could talk all day😁, but this my opinion based on having a kid currently playing and our talks.

Can you imagine PAM traveling to Dallas first round of playoffs? It’s insane 4hr 21 minute drive from Mont Belvieu to McKinney North HS😳 -
