We are team building and are being very selective on the girls we choose to move forward with us so we can build the most competitive team possible. Ashlyn is a senior at Hampshire Fannett and has committed to play college softball at San Jac. A huge congratulations to Ash from coach Trout and the entire Shocker family.

GT Shockers 10U Flores wins 1st place in the Sun Devil Fall Classic 10U division ! 

Hannah Smith is a Sophomore at Nederland HS and plays for GT Shockers Gold team has officially committed to play her college softball at Baylor. A huge congratulations from coach Trout and our entire Shocker family on the great accomplishment.  Hannah earned this with her hard work ethic, great attitude and the support of her family. Super proud of this kid.   

Found this interesting. In a recent game our team made a mistake and batted a girl out of order and the girl walked. The next batter came up and took the first pitch for a ball. The other team protested and wanted an out. The tournament director sided with them and said the base runner who had walked was out. I was pretty sure that was the wrong call and found the correct call that should have been made in the 2014 13th addition rule book that is for this year. Not that it means anything now.

3. Infraction appealed after illegal batter has batted and after next pitch: the play stands. All base runners remain where they are.
