  1. Both tradition rich programs. What a great game to see. Newton will be Newton and the great football that they play. However, it’s WOS in this one.
  2. Would be a great victory for the Cats and in years past, I would have said Orangefield. Still possible. However, I’ll take Woodville in this one.
  3. If you would read the post directly before you responded , then you would have seen that someone else already pointed that out. It was an oversight..just like you didn’t see the previous post where someone already addressed that. Must have been an “oversight” on your part…and you thought you were perfect ..nope.
  4. Has Lumberton won a game this year? I see where they have Bridge City next week in the district opener. Originally, I would have thought that wouldn’t even be a game and Lumberton would walk away with the victory. A little concerned now. Still feel like Lumberton will find a way next week.
  5. Horrible! Absolutely Horrible. It appears they are getting worse week by week.
  6. Congrats to the Bears. Sounds like everything was rough for them tonight with fumbles, penalties, etc , but they still found a way to win and credit to the Bears for winning with adversity. Cardinals got another tough one next week.
  7. No excuses for that many penalties. You would think Landry needs this win…when in fact it looks like Peevey needs this win.
  8. Cats need this one bad..especially with Woodville on the schedule next week.
  9. This is my upset of the week. Going with the Dogs in this one. Silsbee is going to have a nice run when they begin with district play.
  10. I still like WOS to end up district champs. I know it’s a bold prediction and more of a hunch/opinion than overall facts. However, I like the Indians in this game.
  11. I agree. What a job so far, and it’s good for Bridge City. When I look at LCM…although not impressed with their play against WOS, I believe they are hands down better than both Orangefield and Buna. It’s winnable for Bridge City, but I still think LCM takes it. If your Coach Landry, you would definitely like to get this one, especially with WOS, Silsbee, Jasper, and HF still on the schedule.
  12. With all respect to the Sterling Rangers, it was a weak Northbrook team and a Brazoswood Team that is struggling…caught them at the right time….still glad to see them getting some wins. It will be a rivalry game for Sterling, but for Barbers Hill it will be business as usual. Sterling will make it “somewhat” interesting , but Barbers Hill will be the winner. The hype train for the Rangers comes to a stop this week at “The Hill.”
  13. No, they won’t defeat Barbers Hill. The two week hype train that Sterling has been riding will becoming to a stop this next Friday night. Barbers Hill is too skilled, too well coached , and two much history of success to lose this game.
  14. Just saw on television that the final in this one was 48-10 Spring Legacy. Cats look bad right now. The Slot T mafia isn’t intimidating anyone, and it appears that defense is not a thing anymore out there ????No worries , regardless of the pre district matchups , it must be nice to be in that district they are in. No matter what…they still get one of the four playoff spots when district begins. Another playoff t-shirt is coming….don’t worry.
  15. Great win for the cardinals. 2-0 and well deserved.
  16. Jasper Bulldogs. They got Coach Crumedy , they always got a chance.
  17. Barbers Hill is a class act program and have a great leader in their head coach. Im taking Barbers Hill. I will be interested to see how this game turns out being that district play begins next week, and y’all have a team (Baytown Sterling)now playing possessed making the short trip to “The Hill” next week for the district opener.
  18. This is Coach Toomer getting it done right here. Replaced a defensive coordinator last year that shouldn’t have ever been in that role and was not a leader or role model. Got an offensive coordinator that plays up to the strengths of the players he has. The Northbrook win was not all that impressive , seemed like Brazoswood was struggling a bit from last week as well. Either way, Congrats to them! On to Barbers Hill now. If they get that victory…look out, they may go from being picked next to last to being in the playoffs. Next week will tell me how good they really are. They play “The Hill” close or perhaps get that victory , that entire district goes on notice, and no team can overlook the rangers on the schedule then….But we are a week away from knowing if they are truly for real. Great Job, Coach Toomer.
  19. Anahuac rolls to victory in this game.
